Better start exercising your clipper hand. Excellent pic with the ladder.
Hey, I'm retired.. Were about to spray with the Green Light caterpillar killer, haven't found any since we spayed last week but it's better to be safe when it comes to those little suckers. Ordered a couple of those pheromone traps that FDD posted on your journal (thanks FDD) so I'll have those up to help with the problem.:leaf:
Today were blooming the girls and I think we'll up the dosage to 2 tsp per gallon per plant. The plants should enjoy the extra nitrogen boost with the double dose since I've had to increase water due to the Heat we've been having. I see no sign of over fert and the plants are using up their stored reserve of nitrogen. :weed:

big plants eat lots ;) ...... yummy yummy yummy is what I bet they are saying....... a person should drink a gallon of water a day if they are outside in the sun etc. Those plants are about 10 times the size of a person, and they are working HARD :) ........

trimming....... sigh...... isn't that what kids are for? :o

Yep, that's for sure. My kids hate me cause I buy them scissors for their birthday, jk. Plants got about 10 gallons each today, supposed to be 102 here. Will take some more pics this evening to post up later..:weed:

I'm retired when it comes to trimmin. Got some of the Green light caterpillar killer and were trying it for the first time today. Haven't found any since we sprayed twice with the Safer but were gonna spray once a week to be on the safe side, also ordered a couple of the pheromone traps that FDD posted on your page (thanks FDD) will keep you posted as to their value.:leaf:
I went out today and found 2 butterflies on the plant with all the bud problems. I am scheduled to spray the Green light Lawn and Garden with spinosad tomorrow. Did the same as you and FDD (ditto on the thx FDD) and ordered those traps. I'll tell you they worked like a charm to get ride of the pantry moths my dad had. I read a study some where that said the traps and traps are the best you can do.

Im glad you have help trimming. Those beasts you have would give you carpal tunnel.

Sprayed 10 gallons of the Green Light today plus bloomed with the 3-20-20, added molasses today for the first time. Temp only reached 96 here today so we had a bit of a break, still all in all things are looking good. Here's some pics from today, what do you think?:weed:

Hey Hodge, do you adjust the pH of the water? I think I remember seeing some auto-irrigation in your setup. Just curious about what pH you are going with. I have heard that as a plant gets bigger the pH is not as important. Please advise. Thanks and of course an amazing grow.

You can see by the yellowing of leaf that the plant has used most of it's nitrogen reserve, reason I've doubled the dose of bloom. This is the Crooked Prairie.:leaf:

I went out today and got molassas finally. The grocery store didnt have blackstrap but they had Mommas unsulfered so I got that and headed to the health food store. Sure enough they had blackstrap so I bought 2 bottles. When I got home I dropped the mommas on the ground and broke the bottle. It cut the bag so it was leaking a little. I took it in and but it all in a black trash bag. Long story short I rinsed the shopping bag with the glass with hot water and let it run into the black trashbag. When I lifted it up to take it outside a piece of glass had come out with the molassas and cut the black bag so I lost most of the mix. Was ok because I had the blackstrap. THat shit is thick. Do you just mix it directly with your ferts or do you mix it with a little hot water first? Sorry for the long post.
