MY 1st closet grow

Keep your eye on pic number 8. That little bump at the base of the growing tip on the right is the preflower. Too early to tell. It could either have white hair shoot out of it (good) or kind of split in two and turn into balls (bad). Just keep an eye on that one. It is the farthest along out of those pics.

I feel like throwing up in disgust:spew:I checked on my babies when i got home today and found 6 of the 7 bubs drooped severly and almost lifeless. I did what my instincts told me to nd checked there pots for water weight they where bone dry so I gave them a drink. i think they are showing some signs of progress but man i hope i didnt kill them. I believe that this could be a ramafication of the flush that i gave them few days ago. God i am so sick right now if i lose them after all this work...BRUTAL, ok my few but very appreciated followers. WHAT TO DO NEXT? atleast to give me the best odds of turning this grow around and saving them. MAAAN these pics make me want to hurl

man i dont think was caused by the flushing, it wouldnt do that. are they root bound in those pots? and it is hard to tell because of all the lst'in but are some of those leaves flipped over upside down? that is what happened to me when i overnuted them. yours look better though you should be able to turn it around. i would continue to water with only distilled water....what is your run off lookin like? (ppm and ph) gl keep them posts comin

Hang in there, Bro!

It looks to me like they might have gotten a little hot and dried out. You gave them a drink, so I will bet that they will be "perked up" very shortly.

I agree that it may be time to move them to bigger pots, just something to consider. I have subscribed and have been lurking in your gro journal. I am learning a lot through your efforts. I'm sure others are as well.

Grow on, Man. Grow on! Rep for you!

The soil got way too dry. Make sure to pick up the pots EVERY day. If they are light you need to water immediately. Your watering schedule should not change because you flush the plants. If you are watering correctly, the soil will not be any more wet after a flush than a regular watering. They'll be back to normal in a couple days. Don't stress it this time. But it's a lot worse if this happens when the plants are taller or in flower.

Thanks guys for all of your support. I agree totally i was staying on top of checking the pots daily until i flushed and then i figured they where good for awhile so i stopped checking. BIG no no, i watered them with distilled and checked them 2 hours later which was 8 pm my time eastern. they looked about 50% better. I have been biting my nails since 8 guys b/c i cannot go into my grow room right now, you see my gf's parents came into town tonight for 2 nights and the guest room is way to close to the opt for comfort. This is brutal and I am going to have to risk it, so i am waiting to make sure they are asleep b/f i sneak a peek. Gods willing they are perking back up. Tryin, my ph was 6.4 and I didnt test my ppm b/c i couldnt remember where i placed my meter through my panic lol. But heres the plan tomorrow i will try and get them into the 2 gal pots i have, and i will keep a close eye on the pots weight int he future i got to lazy and hopefully this wont turn out to be a really hard lesson. I'll get fresh pics up hopefully tomorrow of a rejuvanated bunch, lol. I just gotta wait till her parents get out for the day. Such brutal timing for the parent visit..........

Rockfish thanks for the positive and wishful thinking:-) I took a look just now guys and they are back up and looking better. I was a bad parent i suppose, but i learned not to sleep on the job of maintaining my plants. also some of the leaves are showing new nute burn, guessing ppm is still too high so i will just go with straight water for a few feeds and test next watering.

Good to know things are looking better. I've finally figured out that things with these plants almost never goes smoothly and every problem has to be looked at as a learning experience. Otherwise, you'll go crazy. The upside is that you'll be more careful not to make the same mistake again. I would try to check the ppms on those plants you flushed next time. The first time I flushed, I didn't feed for several days and the nutrient level became too low and I had deficiency problems. But remember I grow in coco which doesn't store nutes quite like soil. So just make sure your runoff isn't like 50 next time and everything should be good.

Can't be sure from those pics. This is the most stressful part of the grow IMO. Watching those damn preflowers gave me neck strain for days.

Actually, looking back at your post #150, pic 9 looks pretty male. That's the only one I would speculate on though.

I am gonna give them a bit longer than swing them into 12/12. Ill post up some pics tonight hopefully clearer ones, lol its a bitch using the cam and magnifying glass while moving away leafs. Mared that second post hurt man,lol thats the pic from my fav plant and I was hoping those strings coming from the tiny bulbs where female in that pic(post #150 pic 9) :-( i guess we will just have to see, they are a little over a month right now. I am planing on putting a few mother plants in constant veg under the t5 for cuttings in the future. growing from seed is tough man.

Yeah, sorry. Male plants suck ass. I have posted these pics for people who were trying to determine sex. It seemed to help them. The reason I'm saying that pic #9 looks male is the male preflowers are usually rounder and wider. The females are long, slender, and sexy. 1st pic below is an early male preflower, second is early female. Both are still bigger than yours so don't write any plants off yet but I usually find if I have any doubts at all it turns out male:cry:
