My 2018 party cup happenings

Just decided i would keep a thread to document my cup progress. Ill be able to keep more updates and photos for anyone interested without clogging up the official threads.

First run in my armiore and im still doing some finishing work to it. Lights are 2 vipar 300's. Soil is some organic soil my wife came home with. I was gonna do 1/3 peat, 1/3 compost, 1/3 vermiculite, but its what i had handy at the time so i mixed in some vermiculite and went with it. Soaked 12 hours, they all sank, then went to peat pellets, then cups. They stretched a bit, i lowered lights and backfilled them. My strains are:

Josh d - josh d og reg
Reserva privada - sour diesel fem
Dutch passion seeds - power plant fem
G13 labs - skunk #1 fem
00 seeds - northern lights reg

NL and Josh D were behind. NL seems to have caught up and maybe surpassed the others. I didnt think JD was gonna come out at all, but it finally joined the party today. Runt or not, ill let it ride!

Yeah, they are my entries for the party cup competition. 12/12 from seed in 16oz party cups

Awesome. Didn't even know there was such a thing. Sounds like fun though. Good luck!

Did a little work to my armiore today.
- I put some mylar up on the walls.
- Did a little bit of cable management.
- Cut a bigger hole for intake and stapled some cut to fit filter material over it.
- picked up a pvc 90 to turn my exhaust up instead of straight out the back
- added a small desktop fan in for some airflow
- removed all my tools from the bedroom (happy wife)
I also decided since i was running 12/12 for my party cups, i might as well fill the box up and do a batch. Decided to throw an auto in there too since our discussion if you wanna keep track @Bookush34. So got pics of what i got soaking right now to fill my box out

had some trouble, and thanks to some help from @Rolla J i was able to salvage most of what i had. I made the choice to up pot most of my cups in a salvage attempt. I took J's advice and left a couple in cups to see if they pulled through to stay in the comp. so far they are looking good. i had a combination of poor soil, and overwatering. my soil was compact, and basically ended up not having any nutrients in it so they were starving, and even though i called myself NOT overwatering, i was, so i was drowning them on top of starving them. Ill throw some pics up in just a few mins

its awesome what these ladies can do when you treat them right. Ive watered the once since the previous pics, and it seems like they have just exploded in this 5 days here. The cab is smelling super dank! i have my exhaust fan on my light timer to help with my humidity, but my room is starting to smell when the fan goes of for the 12 hours, so im probably going to have to run it full time now. Ill throw some pics up. Im super pumped about the growth between these photos.

Heres another canopy update from today. Girls are taking more water. I added some light bloom nutes. I've tied the auto down 3 different times and its done well.

Finally got my scope in and i had some amber so i did some chopping. I chopped my cindy xx with quite a bit of amber, andi chopped the think different with a few amber, mostly cloudy. Will be checking the rest in the next day or 2.
