As in the bud looking things that have the brown hairs coming out on the stem? Those tiny nuggets look like something I would smoke...Weird lol ..

Finally understand ...its basically just the frost all over the bud thats the trichomes while the white hairs I'm looking at are the pistils.. got it!

@Zspy1985 your grow is looking good! Ya you'll see the trichs are clear now but will cloud up that's when you know they're maturing and close for picking. The pistils will curl up and turn brown too! I'm digging your diy scope seems it works well. I've been wanting to get a scope myself. The pistils are where the male pollen is delivered to the female reproductive system to make babies.

Thanks, I was pretty lucky with that google search and it was pretty much the same webcams I had owned! Yeah I have always just smoked the stuff since I was 18 ...now 30 I finally am able to grow my self. Not knowing fully what everything is has been a huge learning experience.

Plus for taking pride in being my first grow on some weird plants is tons of fun! Looking to grow a LST/Scrog DWC maybe on my next run... not sure. I like getting dirty with the soil and working with it seems simple and I understand it more. I still have yet to mess or learn my PPM of my water but even if I did I don't think I could find a cheap alternative to fix it.

Had I bought a 10 x 5 room I would of gone bigger and had a much bigger amount of work to do but I'm happy with my 4x4 for now. My goal is over 1 pound ...guess we shall see how that goes.

40 minutes after watering Skunk #2 shes got droopy fans ...lol its alright she just was thirsty and is about to perk up with that feeding.

Checked Skunk #3 and shes going to need water tomorrow. I blame the heater for drying out that vent area pulling it in.

Thanks! @Zspy1985 Happy MLK Day!

What is the medium you're using? Did you add perlite? These plants love drainage. So here's the thing I discovered in my garden my airpots work so well because they keep the soil aerated. I never saw my plants droop after fully saturating the medium. I also have RootMaker pots my plants would always droop for couple hours then bounce back. I figured it was from drowning my roots. This run I'm using ReadyGro Coco Moisture with added clay pellets instead of regular Pro-Mix HP. I also notice more compacting w/ ProMix. When I get the next location set up I'm going with the Airpots with 6x8 trays. The holes make water go everywhere if you dont have larger trays or outdoor space it gets messy.

Morning girls!

Watered Skunk 3 with 1 tsp. of Tiger, Grow big and big bloom in 1 gal. of pHed tap water left out 48 hours.

Took the tape off of Ana to let her just chill for the day. Plus I wanna see what her bend does lol

The amount of bud sites on the Fast and Vasts are crazy....for being a stubby plant it sure is interesting!

Also moved the light up 1 inch as the canopy has moved up about a inch and a half.

I use Fox Farms Ocean Forest %50 Happy Frog %50 with 2 cups of perlite per 5 gallons. Which FFOF has some perlite already. That mix is for my 3 Skunks and Anesthesia while my 3 Fast & Vasts have Recipe 420.

Well I wanted to work with smart pots after hearing about the air pruning and how much I'm able to tug around on them. Next step is me putting in some bamboo.

Had an idea to help with the limited amount of space I currently have in my tent with 7 plants and the Skunks are starting to push up the open areas and over the Fast & Vast.

Since my fan is hooked onto a bucket basically taking up a good amount of space that I can move plants better into I'm going to try and DIY mount the fan onto the top of the tent. Giving my girls plenty of room to move around in ...also thinking my boot trays I bought to catch run off and keep my floors dry might of been a useless idea .. Seeing as they are smart pots on milk crates and I only give them a gallon of water at a time there is barely any run off.

P.S.

Changed my timer and I hope they adjust alright to the shift. Instead of 9am to 3pm I moved the time up to 4am to 10am. That's going to be a 6 hour difference! Could they herm from this?

I did this to give me less wait time on the weekends to get into the tent after 10am and start to mess with them lol

I do want the light. Thats why I've shifted the time 6 hours ahead cause I'm usally in bed by 2 am, gone to work by 8 am and home by 4 pm. It's just allowing me time to wake up by 9 am on the weekends and only have to wait an hour till I can go work on them with the light turning on by 10 am now. :)

Plants should be fine. Skunks stretch a lot in flower. I would keep the shortest plants directly under and keep skunks further so they don't shade the rest.

The fan idea is a sound way to get some extra space for them.

I got my skunks in the back and they are starting to try and horde the middle ...I might think of an idea to drop them lower ...maybe if I put them on top the boot trays on the ground. But then there goes any way of tieing them down unless I add some holes and loop some zip ties around the edges every 10 inchs or so.

Also wanted to add that my light is at max height now as well. If the canopy from the Fast and Vast goes any higher I might have to swap to the entire grow on the trays and work from the ground. Kept the entire grow within 18 inches pretty much the whole time.

Day 47 from seed  1/21/15 2:00 am New fan and NEED WATER!

Think I need to start checking on watering more often! All 7 felt light as a feather and needed water. Gave 1 gallon to everything with no nutes. 1 hour later: I over watered Skunk 1 ...lol

Also would like to note that watering without drip trays is a no go in this tent. Figured the tray would hold the water...thought wrong and it leaked through the tray and tent. Hoping the heater drys it all up and keeps my RH low with my fan I finally put in.

Finally my lazy butt put the nicer fan on
