Today marks exactly 2 weeks growth. The stems seem stringy. The leaves are turning slightly yellow. I am using a 400w mh bulb. Distilled water.

If you haven't given them any fertilizer you should think of doing so.

Can you tell me why the leaves are reaching up like that. I thought that the stems were stretching due to lack of light. I had it at 50% power. So I turned it to 100% and lowered the light, but then the leaves began to burn.
