Is that sand your growing in? Diatomaceous earth on top of soil I hope.

If that's your medium your gonna have some serious drainage issues

I am also very curious as to what grow medium you are using. It looks like river mud.

Don’t judge a book by it’s cover
I've never heard of that soil before or seen a soil consistency like that being used in any grow before.
But I did a quick Google search and it informed me that this is very rich in nutrient medium.
Though the consistency of it still has me a little concerned for drainage and air for the roots. And the roots are going to have to work twice as hard to push through that material versus a hydro set up where it basically has nothing to push through. I personally would add a crap ton of perlite.
But I shouldn't give advice for something I've never grown in. I'm very curious to see how these progress I will be following along.

Nile mud + eggshell
Unless you plan on only keeping one of those sprouts in that cup you need to separate them immediately before their root balls get tangled. You should never plant more than one seed per pot unless you plan on only keeping one.

I would definitely get some aeration in that soil. 1/4 or 1/3 the volume of soil. Roots need air too. I'm sure you'll have a better experience with growing in pots. Even in ground.

I am curious to see the results

Its fresh pure Nile alluvial soil, zero enhancement, it’s one of the world’s best.
Cool...the plants sure like it. My only concern might be drainage...does it drain well? If not...maybe add some perlite when you up-pot.
Cheers,

When I say to add organic matter it could be as simple as mixing in some shredded newspaper. Just something to loosen it up. Over time as you water those plants the soil is going to become more compacted which it is already starting to do. You can tell from the cracks forming at the top. I'm not saying you can't use it to grow cannabis. I'm saying you'll have better success if you loosen it up with something to aerate it and prevent it from compacting too much. I'd love to have some of that soil but I'd mix it with other things to make it more comfortable for cannabis.

Good luck.
