the only thing im worried about is i dont know how many are females as they are all from seed...could be awsome or a train wreck but since there is only one much taller than the rest im hopeful that most are females

You can use blue light to help you sex them. Or you can take a clone and when it has a good root put it under 12/12 to figure out which ones are female. Risk to your garden is lessened too.

UPDATE: While talking to my local grow specialist i was advised to flip the switch on my plants today so as per the suggestion today is now day one of flowering!!!!!

And i will post some pics tonight i try to take them around midnight-ish my time

Keep in mind there are ways of sexing the plants that are safer than flowering them and trying to pull the males before they burst. I have read in several areas that they may burst open in as little as one night and pollinate the garden. I suggest researching the easiest way, in your situation, to sex them without putting the garden into full flower. If that isn't possible then keep a good eye on the babies.

So i went to take pics last night but the camera was dead!!!! Ugh! so i watered and i'll take pics tonight when i get done working

By the way flowering has not started yet, even though you said it has its a common mistake we all have done it but techniquely it begans the day your plant shows sex..many people chop plants early just for this reason counting the flowering time from flip to 12/12 until you see clear pistals you are simply in between stages..good luck and well done..

Good luck. start counting flowering when you see preflowers. also, make sure to get a microscope to see the trichs. that is best for telling when to harvest. they are very inexpensive 30x or higher.

Thank you both cuz out of all the books ive read ive never seen that and that would suck to have chopped early for sure....thats why im so glad that we have RIU! This place is just a never ending wealth of information. Ive also decided to take some clones before the flowering starts and since i dont know the sex of the plants or strain ive labeled the pots with letters and am keeping the clones separated that way as i find out sex it will be easy to know whether to toss a group or not. Ive seen some pics of alleged pre-male bumps on the side of the nodes and ive only seen one like that but until i know for sure (footballs or pistils) i wont be doing any thing. I do intend to pick up a scope from local grow shop closer to the end, the guys there are super cool and give me a 10% discount on pretty much everything! Ok well thats enough rambling i'll be checking them tonight when the light comes back on! Till then.....
