my dwc garden g-bomb crop every two weeks

ok well its been awhile since ive written on here and a lot has changed. when i began growing it was soil all the way but got tired of the mess the pest problems spacing issues.... but anyway i digress after four crops decided to try dwc multiple plant systems and multiple strains but a beautiful slh. two crops later and many adjustments to style of growing ive decided to do a large sog dwc system that will give me a crop every two weeks.

the system is taken from a similar system iv seen online using soil.the guy was doing i think 26 plants and was having approx a pound every two weeks.so with that in mind i set forth on this unknown adventure and invite you to come along for the ride.

as setup is still mid way through completion i will get pics up soon.

ok well the stats are as goes

2X 400w hps
2X 600w hps
1X 125w cfl
20X computer cooling fans intake
4X computer cooling fans outtake
4X diy meter square dwc units
2X diy dwc mother plant units
1X dwc cloner
2X 840 ltr/hr air pumps
ph stick
Ec stick
ph up/down
formulex
ionic bloom
ionic boost
pk 13/14
adv nut overdrive
lots and lots of large wall plugs

and cant forget the strain
G-BOMB

5 fem seeds germinated and placed in dwc for mothers unit 24/7 lighting (cfl)

now before we go on i know well the problems that can arise using multiple plant systems but i am also aware of the benefits.

now in roughly 5 weeks i will be taking my first load of cuttings will be aiming for
a good 200 which will then be dipped in clonex and placed into large wall plugs in dwc cloner lid. they will be left for 2 weeks even though a root system will be establised in 12 days the extra two days will help.

ok now to the plants and spacing.
in the meter square tanks will be 60-70 plants per tank. this may seem alot but if you take into account that as soon as they go from cloner to tank they will go straight into flower. so it will essentially be 60-70 large single main colas the bottom third will be stripped bare to give better airflow and will leave room to tie back certain fan leaves.

the first load will be placed in tank 1 with a target ec of 1.6-1.8 target ph 5.7 under 400w bloom and boost mix they will stay in this tank for two weeks moved to tank 2 with target ec of 1.8-2.0 same ph under 400w.
bloom/boost/pk13/14 as i move from tank 1 to tank 2 i put another 60-70 plants into tank 1.
two weeks later i move from tank 2 to tank 3 target ec of 2.0 same ph under 600w bloom/boost/overdrive
two weeks later i move from 3 to tank 4 ec of 1.6 ph same under 600w first week boost/overdrive mix second week ph adjusted water. and move the rest around introduce the new lot to tank 1
2 weeks later the first crop comes off and from that point on i just repeat the process and love the fortnightly crop.

so that about covers it once first load goes in i will be posting pics every week to show progress

hope you enjoy the ride:fire:

Just curious why the many tiny plants vs growing a larger plant for more yield? Is there a height issue in play?

glad to have you aboard dai dai.
hey divine no i have no height problem its because of the whole crop every two weeks. ive done some very large plants before now but its just the whole waiting 8/9/10 weeks for a few pound. each crop that comes off here will be lower yeild than a crop of large plants but when you add up how many crops i will have off in the time it would take for a proper large crop the yeild will be a hell of alot more up to 4/5 time the amount:fire:

Ahhh - to each their own I guess.

I'm doing a harvest every two weeks as well which is why I asked. Except I'm doing it with larger plants. Clone spends two weeks in the cloner, on to the veg chamber for 6 weeks (three plants in there on a two week rotation) and then on to the flower chamber for 10 weeks. 5 plants in flower on a two week rotation.

Makes for a nice efficent production line! :)

Im interested to see if this technique will give the desired results, divinepower, you should update your journal as i would like to see how those haze are doing after these couple weeks.

ahh sounds good divine.so is this a new thing your doing or tried and tested results?if tried and tested what do you get weight wise from three plants every 2 weeks. will definatly keep an eye on yours to see how it goes and compare against mine.when you were saying you did it with larger plants i was thinking you had in mind 6 or 7 plants. with you doing only 3 plants the yield from that compared to mine i think will be substantially lower. the max ive had off three plants full grown in dwc was avg at 7 half ozs each but it all depends on what your feeding with and what addatives your using.let me know if you would.itll be good to compare results either way

I've done the same in the past, minus the DWC bins and the perpetual harvest. So I'm quite confident my results will produce the maximum yield for my space. I think you misunderstood my post, or maybe I misundestood yours which is why I chimed in to make you think about it a little bit. Because if your doing the same 5 plants in flower as I am in a 4'x4' space - you might want to do a little thinking. :)

Flower room will always have 5 plants flowering on a two week rotation. 1 plant harvested every two weeks and one plant added back in to keep the room with 5 plants.

I wanted to do an aero setup but because of the different nutrient needs of each plant that is in a different stage of flowering - I needed to be able to control the nutrients each plant was receiving. DWC in 5 5 gallon bins allows me to do just that.

right makes sense now. sounds good and i hope it goes how you want to in the dwc. with the space that you have available i understand y you are doing it that way.
what im doing is sea of green in dwc. i know from previous experience the type of yields a sog will give compared to a single plant and that is in soil.what im after high yields of a sog and preciseness of dwc.to have that harvested every wo weeks will see me with mad amounts (im hoping lol)bongsmilieand because im olny using 1 strain it make the job alot easier and should help with a good light distribution and a nice even canopy of single fat top colas :weed:

ok whilst constructing have been having a little think and have decided to introduce another few weeks into the cycle and fewer plants.I've attached a diagram for full explanation.am still growing my g bomb as the seedlings are already a week and half old but am buying greenhouse seeds THE DOCTOR as is ready in 8 weeks but finished in 9 which works into the new plans.
