other then the yellow leaves the plants look like there doing pretty good!
But the other leaves are also turning pale ever so slightly.other then the yellow leaves the plants look like there doing pretty good!
Ive been given a set of instructions which will help him diagnose the problem in the mean time Ive been researching Mag deficiencies (as you told me a few times it could be a case of a mg deficiency) deficiencies & I reckon thats my problem, now many people have recommended "Epsom salt" I just need confirmation that Im about to purchase the right stuff so would you be so kind to take a peek at this ebay item:As an afterthought, you could post a few pics on Von Danks thread. He sure knows his stuff and might have some advice for you.
Thats the stuff. Just plain old Magnesium Sulphate. I'm sure when you start feeding her up shell respond well. Have you tested your run off yet?
As for nutes "Ionic for soil" is fine. But I like to use Bio Grow/Bio Bloom/Top Max, All from Bio Bizz and all organic.
They are not the best but they are affordable and more importantly easy to use. I am yet to find a strain that I can't grow with Bio Bizz.
I should be a salesman
thats the balls man. how much does something like that cost and whats the benefits. is it dual chamber for vegging and flowering.
Yes thats spot on.Im going to check the run off, water & transplant all on the same day which will be tomorrow(& the soil is still quite moist). Ive seen it done on youtube, I just PH the chlorine evaporated water then add it to the soil until I have enough run out water through the drainage holes to measure with the PH pen...right?
Ill check the ph, ec & PPM with my digital pens & with my bluelabs truncheon just so I know if their is a difference in the readings but would it be wise to transplant first then check the run off or should I do it the other way round?Yes thats spot on.
If you ph your water, then test what comes out the bottom you will get a good indication of what the ph of your soil is. You will then know if you have a ph related problem. I think it's best to ph your water to 7 for a run off test, as a nuetral ph to start will give a more accurate measurement of the soil ph.
You could also teat the EC at the same time and will know if you have a nutrient build up in your soil. (I don't think you have tho).
As for the Bio Bizz you won't regret it, its easy to use so great for starting out with. If in future you decide you want a bigger yield then you would have more experience, and would find the more expensive nutes easier to use.
As for the buzzing, I've got the same problem myself at the moment. I'm not sure what to do, but I think Im probably gonna make a soundproof shell for my fan (egg boxes).
If you want to know whats wrong now then do your test now, if you transplant then the nutes in the fresh soil will affect your measurements and you won't get such an accurate diagnosis of you current problem.would it be wise to transplant first then check the run off or should I do it the other way round?
Ill order the BioBizz nutes next week is there a starter pack youd recommend?
mine is settling out, i think it was getting too hot. the new leaves looked pale but werent burnt. i have lost a lot of fan leaves on two of the plants though, the new fan leaves dont seem affected yet.Ive noticed that only the fan leaves are affected even the new ones which are growing at the very top.
Do the fan leaves grow back in place of the dead ones?mine is settling out, i think it was getting too hot. the new leaves looked pale but werent burnt. i have lost a lot of fan leaves on two of the plants though, the new fan leaves dont seem affected yet.
i have topped them and giving them two weeks to settle and bush out before i put into flowering.
temps are much lower and i leave the water to sit for as long as i can usually about two days.
its definitely a hard one to pinpoint im blaming a lot of small issues...
THIS IS WHAT I HAVE POSTED TO "DOC VON" BUT ID LIKE YOUR INPUT ALSO.If you want to know whats wrong now then do your test now, if you transplant then the nutes in the fresh soil will affect your measurements and you won't get such an accurate diagnosis of you current problem.
To be honest I would just transplant asap and give her a light feed, I would be confident that she is nute deficient, and confident that this is the right remedy. But I'm getting lazy in my old age and did most of my learning years ago. The dilema for me is that on the one hand I think you will benefit from flushing and testing as you will learn from it, on the other hand I keep looking at Her and thinking transplant and Feed quick. So the choice is yours
Bio Grow, Bio Bloom and Top Max is all you need for a successful grow. I've just weighed a LR2 grown with these 3 feeds under 600w with no CO2 and it's just short of 2 oz, I think that's a great result considering I paid just £30 for the 3 bottles.
They have other products but they will not be necessary until you have more experience.
Im happy to hear that, can you tell me exactly what you did different to better your plant overall?no they wont grow back...but new ones will continue forming...
do you think its due to a massive ph swing? all your readings are too high or too low. i think constant would be better. my ph in pot and tap water is roughly the same at 6.8ish.
i trimmed off the dead and dying fan leaves. the new growth coming through is really healthy. im dead proud now! this site is great!
Which strain are you growing?less heat, nutrients and watching the ph, they look so much better. needing plenty of water though as its still a bit too warm.
