My First Attempt at a Hidden Grow (Tips Please) Pics Included

this plant doesnt seem to want to open at the top is it ok or soemthing wrong ?
 
T5 is a flourescent tube just like the T12 shop lights only it can handle higher wattage. You can get small one or two bulb (tube) ones. They work great and are not too hot. Look in hobby Fish Stores.
 
Yeah ive heard about this blue spec for veg red for flower , my current fluro came from a reptile tank i believe. i think i prefer the cfl just because i can position them and tubes limit me to height adjust only.
 
Dude I've done well with 4 23w CFL's in my fridge.....you can do a build for really cheap......just go to home depot to get the sockets....and the dollar store for the bulbs and wire......check my sig and modify to your grow box as needed.....you not growing monsters....so a bit more light at the right spectrum is what you need......are you feeding nutes and what kind?

I havent actually used any as of yet , because im still learning i didnt want to go ahead with nutes and screw up. The soil the plants are in has feed in it for 6 weeks i didnt know what soil to get so i went for the best ph soil i could find. I need to add something to the mix for better drainage. Until now ive just been giving them oxygenated water.

Gonna get my lights sorted then nutes are my next step :) ive got 12 seeds germinating atm , so im debating keeping these plants. i might just start fresh once im requipped :)
 
m8 the bulbs on amazon are really low wattage whereas the bulbs from sommhydro are both 200w. More wattage = more bud. Dont scrimp on the lighting. Whats £100 in the long run. If you have not got the cash lend it off someone with the promise off bud in 3 months
 
Jesus 12 seeds germ. You are going to need alot more light and alot more room, like 2x400w HPS and 1.2mx1.2mx1.8m. One step at a time m8. Fuck me
 
just use regular tap water...go to walmart and get yourself some organic fish nutes.... 3-1-1..... and just give light feeding for now...you can get it for under 10 bucks....their gunna need food! As i said CFL's are your best step.....if money's tight and i understand, just get yourself two...for $4......it will make a huge difference....make sure their blue in color and not yellow...as in the light they give off!
