I have been spreading compost once a week around the base of each plant. This seems to be my best vegis garden to date. Havent even started a raised bed yet. Native soil with small amending. Compost, a couple bags of soilbuilder from gardener and bloome, kelp meal, humid acid, and some vermicompost. And tilled in. I am going to try going no till from here on out, just tons of compost.

Pepper getting ready to transplant into garden. Mesculin sp? Mix. Radish I am letting go to flower to collect seeds. And some red and green lettuce. Working in the garden relaxes me so much, whether by myself or with the family.

I see lots of people have trouble growing peppers, but they just grow like weeds for me. This oneis in a crack in the driveway amd is about to make its first pepper.

I nice view of the vegi garden. I ended up making a diy aeroponic cloning bucket. Made it a six site cloner. Using things from around the house. A 5 gal home depot bucket, pump, plastic tubing, and a 360 degree sprinkler spray nozzle. Tried with 1 tomatillo and 5 sun gold tomatos all rooted within 3 days. But will let them go until roots are at least 8-10" long. Maybe a couple more days. Going to post a pic of the cloner later.

Fermented plant extract attempt number one. Dandelion and horse tail. Then next pic made a drinking fountain for bees. And my peppers wake and bake I guess.

looks like the perpper eats peppers nom nom nom

just made a FPE with a few culled males and fed it after a month was foul smelling but the plants loved it !

Things dont always go great in the garden. Got the wonderful striped potato bug for the third year. If you grow tomatillo then you probably have had them at least once. They can devour a whole plant in no time. In past I tried neem and something some other natural pest control product. Both hardly worked at all more damage would be seen next day. This year tried thuricide with b.t. in it. Worked insanely good, not a single worm left on the plant as far as I can see and there were tons. Nasty little bugs that shit all over themselves. But not hurting the bees! (Sprayed when bees were not active)

Neighbor has 2 hound type dogs and a cat but they have mice living in their small backyard. Lol so I made a mouse trap I'm under 5min counting baiting and setting. Bucket trap no water so I can relocate them somewhere in nearby fields. Lets see if it works and if it does how fast.
