If you have a plant that has grown into your light, and is still not done stretching, then I would prune or tie it off out of the way. Bending or some other type of lst is fine throughout flower but I would cut or pinch only as a last resort. Either way I would get the plant out of your light.

Do any of that and you'll learn what not to do. Try putting a 2-liter full of water on the ground opposite the plant and tying a string to it. Then as the plant gets an inch too tall, pull it down over the canopy just that inch. I would highly recommend not stressing them in flower. No need to pull the branch down more than it needs. Can you snap a picture of the problem? Maybe I can come up with something better.

i learnded the hard way when chopping and what not in flower, i had some plants and they got too big, so i cut off some branches, leaves and so on...well what a mistake, the plants stopped growing and i got 12 grams off 3 plants, and im not a bad grower, i usually get 2oz+ a plant, my point is, dont disturb in flower, leave them to do what they want, they will reward you :)

That's why I never grow one. Ever! I go for indica or indica dominant strains. I end up getting a lot higher than I'd like, but they harvest faster and shorter.

I see the problem. Try tying sting to the tall tops and slowly pulling them down. You could tie the other end to another branch, stem, or screw into the wall. The tops will turn back towards the light so consider that when selecting a tying point. They're getting their heads so I doubt they will stretch much longer.

Hey man just read through your journal. I have a 250 watt also so I like seeing growers with the same power. Everything looks pretty good but I gotta say your plants are getting way to tall for a 250. Using lst will really maximize your yield under that light. You want all the bud as close to it as possible not just the tops. Look up "scrog" it seems to be the best way to get an even canopy. I was to lazy to build a screen but I still managed to get a some what even plant. If it were upright this plant would be three and a half feet tall, but as it is it is barely 18" above the grow bag, if that. All colas are the "main" colas.

yeah i know for next time but its my first grow and i didnt know they would get so tall and i was also experimenting with fimming and topping, my canopy is even , the light is almost at the ceiling and the shorter plants have been raised to be even with the rest :) thnx for your interest though

Yes your plant still look very nice. I like your grow because we're both under a little 250 and we both are growing organic and we both didn't use perlite. Topping a plant and then training all the new colas is probably the fastest way to fill a flat canopy. You saw how your plants stretched, imagine all that growth being horizontal. Anyways, I'm subbed and am excited to see some frosty sativas soon.
