looks great bro... i love the cfl grows low temps and nice yields can beat em
Thanks cowasaki, I'm loving it. Temp never gets above 80 even with my closet door closed all day..I really don't know what to expect, even if I get a quarter Oz out of her I'll be happy! :weed:

I can't stand 30 rock.. if it weren't for alec baldwin that would be the worst show on nbc
Baha I don't know about the worst.. Parks and Recreation is pretty terrible, but I have to say the only reason I watch the show is because of Alic Baldwin.. and the rest of the cast are pretty funny every now and then, I think Tina Fey did a pretty good job writing the show.. I think it's hilarious how often they dog their own network.

Anyways, on to the update!
She grew over an inch tall all over today within 6 hours while I was at work.. insane.. I put her an inch away from the lights this morning and when I got home she was hugging them again.. ugh:wall: she got burned a bit on two of the leafs.
On to a more positive note.. I got this tiny 60% microscope with 2 bright led's and 1 purple led.. its pretty cool. I bought it on ebay for a $1 and $1.50 for shipping.
Now on to the pictures!
The first pic is of her before she got watered last night, then a pic of the scope, then pics of after I soaked that bitch with ph'd water. Some good before and after pics of just one night. Then some pics of the burnt leafs from the lights. I through in a pic of a fairly large open gap in the canopy and some of the gimpy side shoots that aren't getting much light  I also added some pics of the alternating nodes, looks pretty wicked! Also took a few of the tops! And finally I added a few of how big she is. She's about 14 inches long, 7 inches high, and 10 inches wide.
So here they are!

I didn't realize how small that pot was, I thought it was like 2 gallon judging by the size of the plant. Thats cool! Maybe my small ass pot can grow a big plant too!

I've never seen parks and rec but I believe you.. My biggest problem with 30 rock was Tracy Morgan to be honest.. he made me laugh a few times.. but the other 80% of the time I was telling him to stop being such an obnoxious idiot.

Tracy Morgan is a TERRIBLE actor but I've been known to laugh at his silly antics every once in a while lol. I couldn't stand him in the movie Cop Out, I hope everyone knows not to ever add him in as a lead role ever again!
Anyways,
I have her in a 3qt pot, I was thinking about transplanting her again into a 1gallon 1qt pot but I was worried about spacing issues. I'm glad that I didn't because she is filling out my box quite nicely, I have her stacked on 5" of books so I still have a little room to grow up. I'm kinda concerned that she is going to get too tall.. but on the plus side I have a sheet of plywood that I liberated from work so I can add onto the box if I ever need too. I want to lst her some more to get more light to the gimpy shoots but I don't want to stress her to much more.... anyone think it would be okay to tie down the main shoot so that I can spread out the side shoots a bit more?
A cold front blew in last night and with my closet door closed the temp dropped to a low of 65F last night, uh oh! I've read that having too much of a difference in temp from night to day can stress the plant.. will she be okay? She looks great today lots of new growth so I'm not too concerned.

65 really isnt all that bad. 55, yes. but 65 is alright.

And i think you are fine to LST because it really isnt a huge stress like topping is. I would just do a little one day and so on and so on.

Cool, I was thinking it wouldn't be too bad. Just kinda worried about bending the main shoot over again.. I'm going to start tying them down tonight about an hour or 2 before lights out, it definitely needs it. When she was in veg she would stand right back over night so I hope the same thing happens this time!

I dunno if you watered recently, but the stem will bend easier after the plant is watered.
I've actually read the exact opposite. I can't remember where I found it but it stated something like when the plant is freshly watered it is more likely to snap than a plant that is lacking water because a plant that is freshly watered is more crisp(not the exact words) and a plant that needs water is more flexible... anyways I'm not sure if this is true or not but it makes sense to me, I've been lst a day before watering throughout my grow.. I watered her Thursday night so she is due for another tomorrow night.
Nice job Freebird! You have a great grow going man.
Thanks Arch! yours is incredible, seems like all of your girl's shoots are getting the light they deserve. Have you done any trimming to your lower set of leafs? mine is getting pretty bushy under the canopy.

So I went ahead and did some lst to her, this way has been working for me. She bent over real nice once again ;-).. and I also realized that I never really described my new box to well so here are some pics of the setup! The pic of the top of the box is my ghetto exhaust setup from the front, the pic of the big fan is the exhaust, and a pic of the exhaust blowing directly on Gonzo.
I added some pics of the fresh lst... I call these Taming the Beast!

I thought it was a jip at first to be honest, I had one inside the container and one just hanging up in the closet. It still smelled to high heaven in my room but I did notice a difference in the box, usually when I open it up it would give me a huge gust of skunk, there really wasn't a smell in there anymore. So after some thought I hung the Gonzo directly behind the exhaust hole, now there is virtually no smell. Still a hint of plant smell(very slight) but no more skunk smell.. keep in mind that she stunk up my entire house for 2 weeks before flowering, it was getting so bad that when she went into flowering I could smell it outside my house door(it wasn't strong but you could smell it).. pretty scary for were I live. I still want to add on my carbon filter but I think I'm going to make another one so that it has 2 with 2 120mm fans exhausting the air through each filter, otherwise I'm afraid my box will get too hot during the day.

side note for the gonzo.. yesterday, I was examining her and a friggen gnat flew into my box. I watched it fly around the lights and then finally it landed inside the bag of Gonzo, I thought maybe it was just hiding but no.. It seemed to be eating something off the gonzo! I really hope that it doesn't become a problem, maybe it was just testing it out.. I don't know were the little guy came from but needless to say I killed it..
Let me know how yours works out for you Zenith! Did you get the 2lb bags from home depot? I got both of mine for $11.50 after tax, not too bad considering ACE had them for $10 a peace

Nope I was lazy and just ordered a dorm room gonzo thing with 3 bags from amazon cause I was ordering a new 120mm fan. I need to perfect my carbon filter though so hopefully that fan will be strong enough to do it. Plus ill be using odor absorbing gel... ill still probably keep one gonzo in the case and another right near the exhaust outside of the case. Needless to say I will be going to fucking war with my plants odor... and I shall prevail!

Bahah it's time to bust out the Febreze guns and fragrance grenades.. It's too bad because I loved the smell.. it was like I had a huge bag of dank open in my closet. Oh well, gotta be safe. I was hoping to find the dorm room gonzo at home depot but they just had the original kind, let me know how it works! I'm thinking about getting some odor absorbing gel as well, I'm thinking the gonzo isn't going to be enough when she starts to get some real buds goin.

Little update for tonight.. I had to work a night shift so I had my girlfriend tend to my baby... BAD IDEA! When I came home she was very droopy, she needed to be watered bad. My girlfriend didn't get how to ph the water so instead of calling me she just waited for me to get home, ugh.. I noticed immediately that she was thinner than when I left her this afternoon. Terrible.. after I watered her with ph'd water and molasses she instantly stood back up and her fan leafs stiffened back up so I'm hoping the thinning wont be a lasting effect and she will fatten up again.

A couple things that I have done to help the smell on the Cheap.

1. Target has carbon filters that are 12x8 and 1/4 inch think for hepa stuff. I put one on the inside of the box at the fan. They don't last long but do take some smell away.
2. Get a humidifier and put some fabrese mixed with water. Get the cheep one that has only the on and off switch and put it on a timer and run it 15 to 30 minutes ever hour or so.
3. For a little more money you can get a ozone generator and it will take care of allot of smell. I have the ozn-1 on a timmer and run it 15min every hour. It always smells like fresh rain. If you are sensitive to it be careful as it can cause headache's.

As for the gnats. The yellow sticky traps you can get off amazon or hydro store work well to catch them. Also I think i used neem oil mixed in the water to kill the larva/pupi. See attached picture.
