Not to be a bearer of bad news but 1. its too early to tell 2. if i had to say sex right now it looks male.But give it a couple more days to see. what im seeing could just be new growth.

I am mentally prepared for bad news, it's my first grow after all, so I figure things won't turn out as expected. Even if it does turn out to be male, I think I'm going to finish the grow so that I can learn from it.

Just lick your fingers, use them as leads and guess the voltage. I think I learned that on Down Periscope though. Might wait for second opinion on that.

Kind of a weird thing with the lighting system. Just for shits and giggles I wanted to see what would happen if I put the HPS bulb in while the light was still on the MH setting. It worked! But I turned it off after a few minutes because I was worried that I could mess up the the whole thing. Have any of you heard of this, and can I ruin my lighting system if I run HPS bulb on the MH setting? Thanks for all the help so far guys. I have some AF's coming from Attitude and Dr. Chronic so I'm excited to get those going.

So check this out. Remember how I was having problems with my lights not working on the Sodium setting. I got in contact with the people at Greentrees, where I bought the system from. Well, after getting my account noted so that I could open it up without voiding the warranty, I noticed that something was unhooked! Lol so I took some pictures and sent them to the guy and he confirmed it for me. Viola! It works!
Now here's the thing, I noticed that when I had the cover off that it has a 400W ballast in it. The lighting system is advertised as 250Watts switchable, but I was wondering if I could run 400W MH and HPS bulbs in it? Any of you guys know? Here are some pics of what I'm looking at.

well i see the 400 watt ignitor
now look at the ballast the thing behind the ignitor with the copper looking coils should be a label on it somewhere may have to take out to see but if that says 400 w u r good to go
and to think everyone wanted u to just go buy a new one when this one just needed trouble shooting great work man

Thanks man. I'll take a look at that other piece too. It would be awesome if I could run 400W stuff in this thing.

hey man glad to try to be some help did u get that voltage off ballast yet
i think that is interesting they got a 400 w ignitor
and repped back for that find
and be careful with capacitor the can looking thing and the ign. they store power and if u dont discharge u can get a zap
use a screw driver with out touching metal and bridge 2 connections to discharge if u ever have to handle one
