I actually have to bring a heater their tonight..not bad 65 but not where I want it..have the heater sitting here so might as well. Don't know about not testing hot but I know I was ALWAYS "randomly" tested in 29 Palms...every 48-72 whatever I would get a test..and it seemed like I was the control..I always came back clean (never did anything in the service that's just a disaster waiting to happen) I'm just shocked..but defiantly in a good way.

Update time...

So last Thursday was the the big move for the girls to their new home. Overall it was a success (so far can't tell if I"m going to get any males due to stress) I made a cheap tent using panda film, tape and a shit load of thumb tacks. Inside the tent is going to be the clone/veg room and outside is the flowering room as of right now. Temp is good in the flowering room (75 or so) humidity is good too (25%) Inside the clone dome it's literally 100 degrees...I bought a rapid rooters tray and a heating mat along with a mondi cover. Yesterday was cloning day and a first for me...I suppose I won't be able to tell anything as of yet hopefully within 2 days I"ll at least know if there's any die off or any roots. Just used clonex on the branches I chopped and put them in the rapid rooter tray with some PH'd water...def need to keep a constant water supply around for that thing...it sucks water right up.

The main girls are going good ATM. Heights are 34 inches, 31inches and 30 inches...and that's without pots :) PH is 6.8, 6.7, and 6.5 So that looks good too. So overall status quo at the moment so hopefully when I get to go to the house their at now they're shouldn't' be any issues.

The next grow (the current set of clones) I'm going to LST, FIMM, and possibly top..although I think I have topping all wrong...I always thought topping was where you cut newest growth, but it seems as though topping is more for cloning than anything else..personally I like my method however it's still unproven so we shall see.

Now here are some pics to entertain..the "dark" pic is to show their is very little light leak in the room where they are.

Enjoy.

PS the calculater should now work although I like snows program better I didn't have the heart to tell my buddy and he finished it late last night.

Those are some monster clones you took dude! 100 degrees might be a little too hot, maybe place something between the mat and the tray?

yea I'm thinking the same thing.although it was only 100 b/c I had the tent closed, the heater running in the adjacent "room" and the mat..so it will take some fine tuning but should be manageable..thanks for the kind words about the clones.

Keepin your grow area nice and simple. I like it better ;-). That's the ticket :-D. You should try to keep your clones much cooler than 100* man. They'll COOK. 78-80 is preferable. You will read that keeping the root zone warm is good, but there is a too hot. If they're around the main grow area maybe move em to a cooler spot. Your other girls look pretty healthy, keep it tip top man....And panda film tents may be cheap and easy but they sure are effective too. I just made a new pvc tent for my PK mom :-D. Great in a pinch.

Oh yea man I almost forgot, my buddy lives in central Providence. I dig RI bro. Some of the coolest fuckin people I've met come from out there.

Howzer thanks for the kind words...I will def have to see how I am going to keep the girls cooler..possibly turning off the heater at night? Yea as much as a giant PITA it was to "build" the panda film tent, it's working better than I thought. Also thanks for the kind words RE: my lil state...as much as I can't stand living here sometimes I've been to other places and their is a certain something to be said about RI..again thanks and will work on the clone dome

420 - looks great - but yes 100 for root area is too hot.. your mat needs to keep them toasty warm 75-85 tops... other than that - you're cruising!

update...after visiting the girls today I did what you all said and lowerd the temp..simple solution for now is a towel in between the tray and mat and I moved the light up a tad. Clones are a tad too droopy and I do already have some top burn...hopefully I"ll get 4 from 12...at this point I"d settle for 3 but maybe I'll surprise myself. At any rate the only other stupid mistake was spray the girls with thier extreme serene foliar app...well I looked at the feeding chart it said to not use that during flower..I don't think one dose will hurt but I still feel stooopid LOL

I just wanted to post this and see if anyone wants to give it a whirl..it's a nurtient/ppm calc for INDIVIDUAL solutions...so if your like me and use more than one solution you would have to add the two (or three or four etc) together....if anyone has any questions on how to use it let me know..also if you want to save it as a file on your comp let me know through PM.

420 - I am in soil.... sorry can't help ya - but I'm glad to hear you solved your heat problem on the clones, and things are going well.

kiki sorry to get back to you so late been busy between the clones and checking everything for flower...PPM isn't strickly for hydro (although I won't buy a PPM meter till I actually need one for that reason) but it's good to know your PPM when feeding if for nothing else just so you can (hopefully) duplicate your results (which are awesome btw). In the end your right though and soil growers like you and I don't really need the info but it's good info nonetheless.

Update:

I'm still not seeing any roots any of the clones I took Sunday. Kinda disappointed..yesterday I trimmed some of the clone leaves that were basically soft and mushy due to the fact that the first few days I waay over heated and waaay over water for compensation..BUT almost all of the 12 are standing straight up and looking at the light at this point...one is still kinda droopy..I also "staked" 3 of the twelve (although I may do the droopster today) just to see if it makes any sort of real difference at this point. Still no signs of bud but I did notice today I peeked in the room and their is about an 1/2 crack running the length of the tent where some light is getting though when the veg room is on...thinking I may duct tape over that entire section and re-apply another zipper..bought two in case I fucked up. Will try to get some photos up later on in the day.

get some cal mag to stop the yellowing when vegging, you should scrap the white poly film as it gives off toxins called plastercisers which are harmful for your plants, id get some mylar alot better reflection also. also if your cloning you should give them fresh air every 12 hours or so or the clones can mold also. if its to cold they wont root

I really don't want to give them anything right now since they're just clones. Also I don't think I"m going to scrap the film...I've seen so many people use it and to buy the amount of mylar I would need wouldn't be practical..thanks for the heads up though..makes me want to get my tent now even more.

Hmm good question howzer...I would think yes only b/c I know mine is good in other states...we got great 420 news here yesterday....18 of the 21 new apps (the first 25 were all thrown out by the Health Dept.) were approved...so now it's a matter of time before we have compassion centers (dispensaries) wicked stocked..looking to get some SLH from someone I know who's starting a grow op..hoping he wins the bid.

I finally made it in here.

Good looking hybrids man. Looking like champs. I would love to have your humidity but I'm on the other side of the country right now and that's not about to happen.

I saw the most recent pictures. Do you usually keep the light that far away or was that for the pictures?

Hey snow welcome to the party...which light are you referring to the main HPS or the T5 with the clones...either one is where I have it but let me know if you thnk it's too high..or low

I think the HPS looks a little high. It is in a wing reflector, so I know you're concerned about the heat from it, and that's the first thing.

Check out where my 1000w is in relation to my plants.
