My lady is hedging and not stretching?

Can someone tell me how the hell I can get my plant to grow wider and and taller and stop growing so bushy and small like it is? Is my light too close?

I would tie some of the branches down (lst) to open it up and raise my lights slightly.

Perfect that's what you want believe me...No do not rise your light...It's good to keep them short and bushy like that in veg because when you begin to flower she will stretch a lot anyway.

Short and bushy is always the way, top and plenty of LST

Thanks guys for the help, do I raise the lights at flower stage to help stretch? I should probably mention that she's, a Dj short true blue

I'd kinda play it by ear as it goes and see if she's doing what you want her to do. Some of how its going to stretch is built into the strain. Speaking of the strain, anything DJ Short should be interesting
