What's your PH? i was having the same problems with the Hesi during veg, i was giving them 3ml per L and most of my plants were on the yellow side as soon as i bumped up to 5ml per L on flower they started to become green i think the problem was that when i was putting the 3ml per in it wasn't lowering the PH enough therefore causing lockout i may be wrong but thats the only thing that i could think of after all the Hesi feeds must work as their all cup winners.

Hi Robbie,
Your garden in simply gorgeous!
Im finding more and more gardeners growing the exodus cheese from seed.
Did you know that Kether Noir has an exodus cheese from seed growing 12/12 ..looking real fine.
I need to grow that exodus cheese over here in the states soon. Patients would be so thrilled to get that stinky bitch in their little paws. Gotta spread the cheezy love all over the world!
Canna products.. i know wowgrow and pukkabud use them if that lead helps i hope. take it easy mate

PH should be fine mate , its always between 6.2 and 5.8 ... its only the exodus thats suffering aswell ?

The only other thing that i could suggest is to leach the soil/medium with PH'd water let it dry for a day or 2 then start feeding again i've had to do it a few times with some of my girls this grow all but 2 came back strong, 1 is coming back slowly and the other is looking shit and she is an GHS exodus cheese like yours i would blame the strain BUT i have another exo cheese from the same mam and she's loving it

so do you lot think i should flush the coco with PH'ed water ?
I've done it a few times with my girls when they were getting stunted yellowing and clawing i pored about double the pot size through them let them drip dry and put them back in the groom next day the leaves were starting to get back to where they should be, i can't guarantee it will work with yours but it won't kill them either

im not 100% sure on the amount , i fill a 5litre tub and feed all 3 plants from it , normally 5ltr lasts 2 feeds for all 3 plants , i give each plant enough for it to JUST start to run out the bottom, the big psyco obv gets more than the other 2. i also only feed it when the pots feels light and the coco looks dry ...

umm i realise thats not much use lol PH is always between 5.8 - 6.2
I've just noticed this post, maybe here is where your problem is coming from stop feeding the exo the same strength nutes as the bigger plants it may be causing salt build up and locking out certain elements make individual feed up for her with a lower EC/ppm

im just abit cautious about flushing because yesterday people where saying it needed more nutes ... lol

the leaves are starting to claw under by the looks of things, more nutes could make things worse i start my clones and seedlings off with a low dose of formulex and increase the strength each watering when i switched to full strength H&G nutes they yellowed and clawed thats when i leached the coco and lowered the dose of H&G made sure the PH was in the rite place and increased the nutes slowly, this method has worked for me on my current grow on previous grow i've just carried on feeding them as per usual and it took 12 weeks to bring them up to 16" under a 600w lamp and the final yield was shit.

thanks mate, well no one else seem to have anything to say and you seem to know whats what so ill have a go at flushing it with 10lts water (its a 6lt pot) should i ph to the lower end ... say 5.8 - 5.9 or abit higher 6.1 , 6.2 ?

I find 5.8/5.9 the ph sweet spot with mine, tbh it does look like more of a ph issue.

Hi Robbie, plants use lots of Magnesium and it looks to me like it isn't getting it which if your feed contains MG (which all good MJ feeds should) Then it means the problem is elswhere. I mix and then use my nutes, I never use them after a day. A change in the ph of the water you are addding will only change the substrate if you really soak it/wash it through and I am never in favour of that. Have you PH the soil/substrate itself? I use a Micro nutrient wash instead of flushing when I have issues like this, it does the trick on most occassions, providing all your other ducks are in a row, lol.... I use Pokon Groen Kracht, which is a Dutch product, but it has all micros in there.

Hope it comes good for ya bru.

Hi DST mate , hows you?

i also first thought it was a mag deficiency when i looked at pics in the canna bible but my feed (hesi coco) contains mag so im also wondering if its a ph issue , ill calibrate my ph pen tomorrow and make sure its not out , ive not ph the coco , how do i do this ? do i just test the ph of the run off ? ill have a look at micro nutrient washes mate nice one for the tip :)

You ph the run off fella. I'm also in coco and find that it does go up in the run off so check your res'/feed tank ph daily. Water in at a lower ph to counter balance this effect too (5.8/5.9). They will also benefit from more nitrogen too imo.

should the ph of the run off be roughly the same as the ph of the water going in ? sorry if this is a stupid question lol
