My neighbor's dog is always barking...

Like right now at 8:30 in the morning and has been since about 7:30. This is pretty much a daily event. I think he goes to work and just leaves him outside. I feel bad for the dog. It looks pretty old. Like should be put down, going senile, always barks kind of old. I think I should do something. On the rat poison jar it says use one teaspoon on a piece of bread. How much do you think I should use to safely and humanely euthanize a 50lb dog? Keep in mind this is that good pre-9/11 rat poison. In my heart I know this is the right thing to do. I think this is what the dog is actually asking me to do with it's barking. It knows I'm a nice man and will help it. How have you euthanized medium sized dogs in the past?
 
I know a mix of Golden Malrin and regular Coca-Cola will kill raccoons. Some don't make it 10 feet from the bowl. I wouldn't poison a pet dog though.
 
lol well im glad you came here before putting the dog down. Not alotta ppl are going to be too happy (winter woman) cus they are too much of an animal lover, they cant see the good you may be doing.
 
It's Neo so I would not take his post too seriously.. I am sure he's pissed.. but doubt he's lets kill a dog pissed...
 
I say we start an official Humorous letter he can print out and post on the owners house..

I can see Technical addressing Sales at Rat-Dead Inc ... "Cheap, effective, humane. I can give you any two." Which combo sold rat poison? The stuf is nasty.

Although nowadays i could see another combo selling, smh.

There is a compelling reason not to make a humane rat poison generally available. Sophisticated addicts like myself, who can credibly reframe "humane" as "pleasant", would be constantly underdosing the stuff. Drool.
 
The poison has just been laying around here since I bought the place. Might as well use it. I'd hate to see it go to waste. It's called Blue Death. Anyone ever use it on a medium sized dog before? The description on the back says it humanely kills things by "happily energizing their metabolic pathways." I really think it's some top shelf rat poison.

Diphacinone oral LD50 values of 0.3 to 7 mg/kg in rats, 3.0 to 7.5 mg/kg in dogs, 14.7 mg/kg in cats
