My New Set Up....

Hello my friends.
just wanted to show you all my latest set up. I have a light house hydro 4x4x7 grow tent. I love the tent. seems to be made of good quality. The exterior clothe is 600d.The lining inside seems nice and reflective and easy to clean. Those have some tiny pinholes. But nothing I can't work with. I have built a custom cabinet above the grow area where I will handle seedlings and clones to wait for being brought down to the grow area. Eventually I will use the bag that the grow tent came in to make a cover that will be placed on the cabinet using velcro. I will have a fluorescent light and a duct fan going directly out of the cabinet and out the tent.
. Obviously Ill have to do some training to keep my plants under control but i believe I'll be fine as my last grow was kept under control as far is the height is concerned to keep the girls under the cabinet i built.
The lights are 1x Apollo Purple Sun 75x4 watts, 2x Apollo Purple Sun 1x192 and 1x 150watt HPS light from HGT Supply. I am happy with the lights, I did have to replace the C. O. B. for both the 1x192 lights. They didn't even last one grow. The thing that shucked was I couldn't warranty the lights because I didnt have paper work from the previous owner and when I got them he had never even used them. Bought replacements from ebay. I called and spoke with the seller and they assured me they will honor the warranty they offer. Let's hope it's true....
I know its a odd set up for lights but it's just what I came across. I had the HPS originally and i found the LED's on craigslist and the price was to good to pass.
I mounted the LED's on a board and the board has 2 adjustable cables to adjust height. The HPS is Also held up with cables I can adjust.
I am planning on 6 plants under the lights. Do you guys think that'll be fine.
My next set up is going to be a coco coir grow.
Anyway any thoughts love to hear from you all.

Looks good man. I'm just started my first coco grow right now too, but i wanna get a tent right away. for how cheap they are it just makes sense

Looks good and clean! Some strains will be easier to control height issues. Also keeping temps correct, and the light to plant distance correct will help.
I'd stagger your plants off according to the power of the light they are under. Big plants in the center and smaller ones on the sides.
If you ever get anther tent I highly suggest gorilla grow tent lite line. So good quality thing will last forever.
I have 4 Area 51 rw150s in a 4x4x7 one. And building a flood table to go inside so I will be working with less height for the plants. So my veg times will be short and I'll be flowering prob just 6 short bushy plants at a time.
Currently in the middle of re doing my entire setup. Cleaned the room out to nothing and am slowly doing it right as I've learned so much from my first setup. Keeping it simple is my daily reminder I give to myself **

I love what you did with the framing inside the tent. Framing like that really helps stabilize the hanging equipment. Can't wait to see what comes out.

Thank you for your advise. I am growing the same strain I grew before. So as long as I do a little LST hopefully I get the same height as my first grow.

Oregon Gardener... I love having the framing inside.
1. love having the area above my grow for other things.
2. love that i can easily add equipment on the wood, allows me to place alot of things anywhere.
4 The lights are very stable on their platform.

I do have an update I have changed my mind i was gonna run using coco and drain to waste.
But I invested so much time and effort into building my RDWC. I am going to use it again.
I did make a few adjustments to the system before my submersible pump was draining the resevoir way to fast and gravity wasnt bring it back quick enough.
so I changed my lines from the submersible to the grow bucket. by almost half.
Next setup will have much larger return lines.
Now everything is staying at a constant level and recirculating great.
Ive posted some pics of the improvements.
I have put a little video about 7 minutes long can i play it here in the forum
and of so how would i go about doing it.?
is just a better look at my setup.

Looking good. I want to try dwc but its hard to step away from soil when its is just simpler.

Update.
So On the 23rd I placed two Dr. Kripplings Incrediable Bulk and two Delicious Senci Crital Star in in some R.O water Ph'd at 5.8 with 50 ppm of cal mag. Not sure if that was right but it didn't appear to hurt them.
On the 24 took them out placed them in paper towels again with the same set up with water as before.
On the 26th placed the seeds in some started pellets soaked again with the same water as previous days. Placed my seeds in starter pellets and placed in covered seed started tray poured a lil water at bottom of tray and placed it in my grow tent.
On the 29th TODAY.
I mixed 12 gallons of distilled water in a 18 gallon tote placed my ph and ppm matter on the side of the tote so I can get my readings in real time.
I used 12ml of cal mag and 12ml of Soul Synthetics Grow. I know I had talked mad shit about these nutes but its what I have now and before I was in know way using the nutes properly. Gonna give it another shot. And 2 drops og G. H. Rapid Start.
My PPM was at 125 and ph at 5.8 after all was mixed.
I like those numbers and will gradually increase them as I progress.
The lights are right above the plants and they seem to be stretching more then Ide like and i am afraid of getting any closer. so i turned on the led lights i have on the ends to see if that helps a lil.
What do you guys think? Too much light or turn leds off on ends and just bring the center led closer?
So far they all look great. One of the sensi stars started to curl back on herself but i gently loved her and she is growing straight now, a little behind the rest but. I am sure she will catch up and make it.
Second time growing incredible bulk first time on the sensi star. Trying to just get good at definitely 1 but trying two strains and master those.
