Hey Freddie,

Plants look great. I've got some LSD going and I absolutely LOVE it. You should be quite happy.

Love the video of the grow room. The only thing you may want to change is the fan...a breeze is nice, but you should probably switch the fan to oscillate, and maybe crank it down to low. Otherwise looks great :leaf:

Hey Jerry,

thanks for the advice, unfortunately that is the lowest setting on that fan, i do agree that the wind is a little 2 strong, i moved the direction of the fan a little bit over the plants and they are only moving slightly, so i guess this is the sweet spot :bigjoint:

man i am so excited to smoke some of that LSD! ive heard many great things about it, do u have a smoke report??

i saw in ur sig that ur also growing some Powerkush, i got 1 freebie from DNA Genetics Powerkush Femenized, i got her as a mother, i cut 4 clones from her that shud be rooting in the next couple days,

wow man ur also growing Jack the Ripper? i was going to get JTR by TGA Subcool, it was between JTR and LSD...

im very excited and i cant wait to just smoke some homegrown dankness,

i know it will be all worth the wait,

looking real good but i would definitely harvest the top half of those plants first because of the height, then chop the second half 2 wks later to get max potential

yeah man i wasnt planning on flowering any BIG plants this grow since its a SOG, i was only planning on flowering 16 clones every 2 weeks,

i actualy only wanted 1 mother plant from each strain, i planted 3 of each strain just incase one hermied on me or was deformed or she died for watever cause, i wanted to have back ups,

but LUCKY ME i ended up with 11 very healthy mothers, all seem to be female,

harvesting the top first sounds like a good idea, hopefully all the nuggs harvest fully so i dont have to wait the extra 2 weeks,

i measured the Dutch Passion Blueberry and she is 3 feet and 2 inches tall,

the LSD and White Widow are both just under 3 feet,

hopefully they stay under 4 feet when they are done flowering,

smoke on :eyesmoke:

temps and humidity have always been good,
light has been sufficient,
good nutrients and good amounts are fed,
:weed:

so wat do you guys think of my video?

any pointers are welcome, this is my second grow ever so im all ears :eyesmoke:

wow its been 16 LOOONG Days since i cut my clones and still no roots, i peeked inside the rockwool cubes today and most of the clones have some pretty good root development, u can actually see the roots going in the rockwool cube,

so thats good at least it seems that they are going to root FINALLY

so probably within the next 5 days they all have roots sticking out so i can put them in some FoxFarm Ocean Forest Soil,

does anyone know why my clones are taking this long?? the temps are always around 80F in the dome and humidity is always well over 85%, i mist about twice a day, i used cloning gel and i pre-soaked the rockwool cubes in water with PH of 5.5

any adivice is appreciated, will be cutting another 16 clones within the next days so if you guys have any techniques or methods to shortening the time it takes to root,

thanks in advance

Sometimes clones just take a while to root. I've had them sit for weeks but they always do it eventually if you keep it humid and the medium moist.

Is there a reason you go into rockwool cubes first before going to ocean forest? You could clone directly into the ocean forest (might be a little too "hot" though), or I would recommend using Light Warrior (love that stuff) in a layer on top of the ocean forest. That way the roots grow into the LW and then down into the OF to limit burning.

Or you can mix the the OF and LW in a 3:1 ish ratio and root into that.

hey jerry thanks for the response,
yeah ive read about alot of techniques with cloning but i guess using the rockwool cubes is easiest to tell wich one of the clones root and wich dont,
also i heard Ocan Forest can get pretty hot for young clones,

i just wish it didnt take as long to actually see roots sticking from under the rockwool cubes, but ill be happy if i get a high root success %,

Eventually you'll be able to tell by plant response when they've rooted. Mine always start to droop a bit before they root, but once they do they noticeably perk up. And I use clear plastic cups, so I can see the roots when they hit the side.

I've read other people successfully using rockwool cubes as you do though, so it's a personal preference I suppose. Just one more thing to buy and deal with though IMO...

well so far its taking over 2 weeks to root in rockwool cube but i guess its ok since its my first time cloning,

and yeah my clones right now are all kind of droopy but they have some noticable root development, so soon they will hopefully perk up and shoot some roots out,

i will be getting 16 more cuttings within the next few days since it takes 2 weeks to root i guess :wall:

i will be getting
4 LSD cuttings
4 Blueberry cuttings
4 Powerkush cuttings,
4 White Widow cuttings,

so far its been like 4 days since i put the 3 big ex-mothers under the 1000 watt hps for flowering, i can already see little tiny hairs, so thats good i shud start seeing some small bud development within the next week or 2,

im very excited about the Blueberry that im flowering because it appears that it topped itself, its pretty neat how it has 4 main colas, ive never had a plant do that so thats exciting for me! haha :-P

ill have some pics of the ladys tomorrow when i water them some pure filtered water....

time to smoke :blsmoke:

hey wats up everyone,
so today my mother plants are 80 days old, and they have been vegging all that time,

so they are about 11 weeks old,
my Dutch Passions Blueberry has little hairs showing they are females, but just today i noticed some little balls next to the hairs, i mean the plants are pretty mature i would say so do you guys think that its showing male or hermi signs?? or do females get these little balls sometimes??? i guess i wont know wat she is anytime soon because im not going to veg her,

hopefully she aint no hermi because ive heard that Dutch Passion Feminized Blueberry are notorious for going hermie,

i will water all my plants today with pure water and ill take some pics of the BB so you guys can help me out,

i want to know if these miniature balls are bad or wat :wall:

Yeah, I've been very reluctant to deal with Dutch Passion due to the high rate of reported hermies. It is NOT normal or good to develop balls next to calyxes. Maybe they are new calyxes that haven't yet pushed out pistils? We'll see with the pics...

ok so my 3 ladies have been flowering for 11 days now,

the 16 clones are looking good but they are taking extremely long to root,
i finally see some damn roots on some of them,
its been 21 days---3 FREAKING WEEKS since i cut my clones and just barely they are rooting,,,, :wall::wall:

the mothers are looking good i have to water ALL the plants tomorrow morning because they are kinda droopy right now,

what i thought was "balls" on some of the mothers are starting to look more and more like calyxes,

out of the 3 plants that im flowering the Blueberry has the largest buds, it seems to have a head start on the LSD and White Widow,

here are 2 pics of the Blueberry that im flowering, she appears to have topped herself lol :hump:
u can see in the pics how many main colas she has like 6 main branches,

11 days flowering, under 1000 watt hps (12/12),
BB

ill have more pics of the other plants tomorrow when i water them,

how is the Blueberry looking for 11 days??

ok so today is 24 DAYS since i cut my clones :wall:

BUT! there is some clones that are showing some nice roots, i just wish it didnt take me so damn long to see some root development,

i ready everywhere that it took 1-2 weeks to see roots on most clones, im keeping temps at around 80F in the dome and the Humidity is always 80%+,

so i dont know wat im doing wrong, i mist about once or twice a day,

ive recently noticed that my Powerkush clones are turning yellow, i dont know what would cause that but if these clones dont root soon i will just have to cut some new ones and keep the ones that succesfully root,

the clones that look the best are Blueberry and White Widow, the BB has the nicest roots and the greenest healthiest leafs out of all of them, the white widow is doing good but some of the leafs are starting to yellow.

the LSD and the Powerkush clones are both yellowing and the root development for both is very slow,

they are getting some light from a Flouro Tube and a couple of Warm White CFL's.

HERE IS THE DOME WITH ALL 16 CLONES

HERE ARE ALL THE CLONES, SOOM LOOKING BETTER THEN OTHERS,

HERE ARE 2 POWERKUSH THAT ARE TURNING YELLOW, AND 4 VERY HEALTHY BLUEBERRY

4 WHITE WIDOW AND 2 POWERKUSH

4 LSD, THEY COULD BE DOING BETTER

THIS IS MY BEST CLONE SO FAR, IT HAS THE MOST ROOTS, AND ITS THE GREENEST, BLUEBERRY

I WATER THE ROCKWOOL CUBES BY DIPPING THE BOTTOM OF THEM IN WATER

ONCE ALL MY CLONES ARE AROUND THAT STAGE OF ROOT DEVELOPMENT I WILL BE PUTTING THEM IN FOXFARM OCEAN FOREST SOIL AND UNDER 1000 WATT HPS,

i will be cutting another batch of clones probably today or tomorrow, hopefully most of them root this time around, and it would be nice if it didnt take +3 weeks to see the roots,

any thoughts or comments are welcome:bigjoint:
