Ok about a week and a half ago I was given 6 lowryders for free from a friend. He said he paid 8 bucks each from attitude. Said they would germinate and show in about 3 to 4 days. Well I did the paper plate method and overnight I had half inch tap roots. I moved them to the grow area which when I came back the next morning the area was very hot. So hot the soil looked like it had not been watered for a week. I thought for sure the plants were dead but I decieded to water heavily and hope for the best. The next day same problem.i figured I had too much light for the small box. I had 6 100watt equivalnt cfl and 1 300 watt. So I shut off light in frustration and open the cabinet doors and walked away. Today I went to clean box and I find six 3to4 inch long plants growing in almost no light. Now I am lost. I dont know what to do. I have turned box on and added a cooling system but is it even worth trying to grow these skinny stretched out plants.

I wouldn't trash em, the herb is one tough plant (despite all our worries voiced on here, lol) They may well pull through. After all, by stretching, they've shown they're trying to make it...I guess the rest is up to your goode greene fingers.
Oooo, the responsibility! lol!
