Im not gonna clone from it tho, i want clean, predictable genetics for my SOG's, so ive topped it and cut all the branches off except the top six and im gonna do a mini six branch scrog in the bottom of the veg room while the SOG of nl hazes are flowering.

i make butane honey oil with a honey bee extractor and loads of butane lol

Ahhhh fuck it im off to go get some gas now! i cant skin up another soap spliff so im gonna make some oil from wet trim, you get less oil but its the highest quality when its wet. b back soon.

ic ic , so you put the trim in the extractor then pump the gas thru which in turn extracts the oil right?

yea thats it mate, you fill the extractor with trim/bud whatever, put the cap on then squirt a couple of cans of gas through it, i use a pyrex dish to catch the liquid gas and oil mix with a saucepan of hot water under it, then it takes 15mins or so for the gas to bubble out and evaporate away, a bit longer without the saucepan of hot water, then you just scrape up the oil thats left in the dish ans schmoke away lol. yea sure il take a few pics for ya.

Just got four cans of gas from the shop but they only had Ronson gas, which will do but Newport is the best

i still dont get how to make butane honey oil

Right as iv been asked about BHO quite alot recently i thought id put together a basic guide of how i do it.

I did alot of research into it before i started making it, and il try to include all of the important points as i go, because if its not done properly it can be dangerous shit, but if done by the book its fine.

I use a honey bee extractor to make my oil, you can make your own extractor using other materials but most materials react with the butane stripping layers of the extractor material in the extraction process, which you end up smoking in your oil! So for £20 its worth getting the honey bee because its plastic is a type which doesnt react with the butane.




First things first, fill the kettle up and put it on.

The gas,
i normally use newport lighter gas, its pretty much the purest butane available in the uk, but i couldnt get any so i had to get ronson gas, which is still good, probably second best, but basically you want to see that the gas is ultra filtered or refined or even better, both.

Dont be tempted to use cheap gas or any other type of butane other than lighter refill gas, this tends to be the purest butane available to joe public.

A good way to test the purity of your gas is to get a mirror and push the nozzle down onto the mirror releasing some liquid gas onto it, after a few seconds it will evaporate because butane will evaporate at room temp, if theres any kind of residue left on the mirror, normally powdery or oily residues, then dont use this gas as no matter how little it may be these impurities will be left behind in the oil you smoke, if the mirror is totally clean still with no residue after the liquid has evaporated, this is good gas as it will leave nothing behind in your oil





Then i fill the honey bee with my wet trim and lower fluff bud, basically the dryer the trim the more oil you get because the butane can penetrate deeper into the plant matter when its dry, thus extracting more oil, but, it also tends to extract the chlorophyl and other plant chemicals, so will result in a lower grade "greener" oil.

The method i will be doing with fresh cut trim and bud is known as the first grade oil, basically the butane can only skim over the plant matter without penetrating it, so it only extracts the resin, oils and trichome heads that coat the trim, resulting in the finest grade of oil.

Filling the honey bee. after filling it you screw the cap on the honey bee with coffee filter type paper filter in the cap.


I then put aside enough trim for a second run in the honey bee.

Then i get a saucepan thats just big enough for my pyrex dish to sit in, you can use other things but i find this the easiest.

You can see theres still some oil left in there from my last lot, when oil cools it sets and goes quite hard


Then i fill my saucepan with boiling water and put my pyrex dish in the saucepan, you wanna fill the saucepan enough so that the water level is just below the pyrex dish, if the water is touching the glass it will heat the oil too much and youll loose potency.

this way the gentle heat from under the dish speeds the whole process down to about 15mins!




Then i take the saucepan/dish, gas, full honey bee, next lot of trim/bud, all outside, the extraction should be done outside, because you will be releasing a large amount of butane in a short period of time, and if you did it indoors and didnt die in an explosion, youd probably suffocate on the fumes, and people have died doing this, no smoking from now on!

Then squirt two cans of gas through the honey bee, into the dish, already you can see it bubbling as the liquid butane hits the warm dish

You should really hold the honey bee just above the dish but id need three hands to hold the honey bee, press down on the gas nozzle and take a pic so this will have to suffice


After iv emptied two cans of gas through the honey bee and the first run is bubbling away, i quickly reload the honey bee with another load of fresh bud/trim for the second run.



Then i empty another two cans of gas through the honey bee, straight on top of the first lot, and wait for the last drips to come out the bottom orf the honey bee


After ive emptied in total four cans of gas through the honey bee you can see it all freezes up and you end up with freezing cold hands, so have a tea or a coffee on stand by


Right so now its just a waiting game, for all the butane to bubble off, and leave just your oil.

Bubbling.


Bubbling..... It looks like theres only a little liquid in there, but the pyrex dish is nearly half full of liquid butane/cannabis oil.


Bubbling........ less liquid now.........


Bubbling still......................


You get the idea now Bubbling, gas evaporating...............


And after 15mins or so, your left with this........... we can go back in the warm now


Then scrape up all the oil using a flexible plastic card (not your credit card, because it stinks 1000 times stronger than anything youve ever smoked, and it stays there!) a flexible card is ideal because it flexes into all the curves of the dish, and scrape it out while the dish is still in the hot saucepan because its nice n soft.



And there you have it BBC BHO! lol this is the colour you get when the oil is the best first grade, the lower the grade the darker the oil, i have seen it brown and thick green and iv been told that its nasty like that


Then i smear some onto my skin and skin up as usual, i put enough in my joints to drop an elephant, but id suggest a first time oil user to smear two drops max into a joint be warned, this stuff can put you a on whitey on the first hit.

The first time i smoked it i whitied proper, face drained of colour, went freezing cold, felt like i was dying, but you soon get used to it, and start to love it
