Heres a few pics of the flower room i took this morning a couple of mins before lights on, got a little something going on in there and im not entirely sure of what it is, so im keeping a close eye on things in there for now, might have to fire up the sulfume hotbox and fumigate it.

The buds are statring to fatten up nicely now though so im not sweating over it too much.

As you can see the NL hazes are well behind on the cheese in terms of bud production so far, theyll be in there a good 3-4wks after the cheeses are out i reckon, i love growing two totally different strains side by side and watching how differently they develop :weed:

The eldest Nl5 haze mist mum in the veg/mother room showed its first pre flower today, its from a fem seed but its still always a nice sight.

You can just make out the tiny calyx and pistils amongst the blur, the best macro shot i could get with my shitty camera. Sorry.

Thanks Don mate, yep the weekends going good so far, yourself?

Yea the sulfume hotbox basically burns sulfur the fumes are released into the room and kills all bugs n fungus etc, but is harmless to the plants.

I bought it last year on special offer at the growshop but never had to use it yet.

I know its not bugs for certain but it does look like mite or thrip damage, but im 101% sure i dont have niether, gone over nearly every leaf with a magnifying glass and cant find nothing and its just one plant and if it was bugs it would have spread to other plants in the room as theyre all close together with their leaves touching etc.

I know iv got a little bit of heat stress going on because before i got the better air cooled reflector i put that envirolight in to cover a dull area and weather was getting cooler so temps were ok with it, then the weather warmed up again for a couple of days and my temps went a bit above safe range. Fuckin british weather eh

Since then iv been getting a few dried leaves and upturned tips around the area where the envirolight was, but thats nowt to worry about.

Its just this damage thats thrown me a bit, look here it is mate, just one plant and its the one thats growing buds out of the fan leaves, it seems to be attacking the veins of the leaf and you can only see it when you look up under the leaf with the 600 above it??

This is the same plant with the light off, you cant see it under normal light, its fuckin baffling me mate

Look at my pic in post #34 mate, you see the opaque like clusters of spots running along the leaf veins, you only see it when your looking at the under side of the leaf up towards the light.

The closest thing i can relate it to is spidermite damage, when they puncture the leaf and suck the goodness out of the leaf and it leaves like a dead almost transparent spot, BUT, iv never had mites so i cant be sure, and mites arent selective to just attacking the leaf veins, theyll suck from any part of the leaf.

But i know its not any bugs because i started noticing it about 2wks ago when it was just a few dots on a couple of leaves, and its gradually got worse to the point where its forming clusters along the veins and im pretty sure if it was any kind of insect it would have spread onto the other plants by now, and i would have seen something upon examinations with a magnifying glass.

NCSU: ENT/ort-47 FALSE SPIDER MITES

Nice one for the idea mate id never heard of them, but still id have seen them or their eggs under the magnifying glass, the leaves are totally clear of any bugs or eggs, top and bottom and all stems n petioles clear too.

A bit far fetched, but i was thinking maybe some kind of bug in the soil that only comes out at lights off and munches cheese :weed:

But surely it would be on other plants too? Especially as all the leaves are close together and touching etc?? This is whats baffling me so much, its spreading fast on one plant only? with the others unaffected???

aye kanny though im definately getting man flu my throat feels like ive been gargling with gravel...

lookin at the pic id say it wasnt mite damage n more to do with the plants genetics,( it having the mutant, yet very disirable trait of growing bud out of the leaves:mrgreen: ) in my humble novice opinion the damage to the veins is to uniformed surely mites wouldnt be that piccy?! i just had visions of mites coming out in the dark hours like them blokes who did the crop circles, just chewing the veins to fuck with your head  but you wouldnt have used just any old soil so its unlikely... mystery i guess if its not harming the buds then its not that big a deal. weird though only on one plant?! is it the same story on the other cheese?
