My strawberry cough iso hash. (and how i made it)

I pretty much do ISO every time. I have a simple method I follow. Pretty standard.
I use a pint Mason jar.
I do anywhere from 1 to 7 grams on average.
I cover about 25% over the bug with 93% iso
I like the process and refining my skills so I don't do bulk.
I swirl alternating between a vigorous shake ands gentle swirl for 30 seconds to a minute.
If I add keef that's when I shake it for closer to a minute.
Strain once through a coffee filter into Pyrex bowl.
Simmer a frying pan with water enough to rise up 75% of the bowl

Then just double boil it till its about 90% reduced
From then on I constantly swirl the bowl to keep the liquid moving.
If you look closely at The end of the process you can see the alcohol evaporate
There's a gloss to the product that you watch evaporate right the sides of the bbowl
I let sit for ten more seconds then let air out for about 10 min.
Freeze for 2 minutes and scrape scrape scrape

So this time I had to give it a second wash but I think this batch was alot more potent
Bigger yield too weirdly enough even after the second wash

Lol I love the hair in it. A common problem for pet owners and uhhh....hair havers..alike. Looks dank though! So that second picture is a second wash of bud you already ran? Pretty impressive, I'd figure it would come out a lot ...idk shittier.

EDIT: I should add I have only QWISO'd trim thus far and only run it once.

lol stupid cat.
no no no. lol i washed the oil twice.
first time it came out darker and it was an excessive amount and goopy so i just washed it again and voila lol

smooth and my oil always has that hash taste with subtle hints of whatever flavors original product i put in

Durf, should have known. Most of the time filtering 3 times gives me pretty golden product. But sometimes it still has the dark brownness to it. Didn't ever think of redissolving in alcohol to clean it up. I am not a smart man.

Do you mean refilter thru the coffee filter? I never like filtering more than once.s
I'd rather rewas than refilter. I only add about 25% iso of what I first put in.

Yes, I filter through coffee filters three times. Once through a permanent one, as it allows the trichs through as well, let that sit a while, then filter 3x through unbleached filters.

Hahaha, if you have a bong or bubbler or something similar with a female connector get an adapter and a nail and you will be good to go!

looks great, i used to make killer gear from iso but since the site change i dont think ive even got an album and most posted snap's are a goner! Looking to find a new technique so when the time comes i'll pop in for a chat with a few guy's for some tip's ect...
