My trainwreck tastes like baby poo

hey guys, ive heard trainwreck normally has a sweet berry-like taste or even earthy and spicey. My trainwreck grew (dwc, 600wt, dutch master nutes) out smelling like some sort of nondescript chemical. When cutting it the smell was almost non-existent. Now that its cured a bit it has a faint aroma almost like pepper steak, but the taste is like feces. Still gets me trashed tho.

Wondering if this is just a variant or ??

did you flush? Some people claim flushing helps with taste..i didnt flush and they came out great..maybe your over fertilized before chop? was it just 1 plant?

The strains were, nightshade, cheese and trainwreck. Each strain with it's own res, multiple plants per. Total yield was just over 1.5lbs. They were flushed for 10 days. The nightshade has a strong strong smell of green pine, the cheese has a semi-strong fruity pebbles scent, and the trainwreck barely smells at all, but tastes like poo. I think I am going to let the trainwreck mother bud out, drop the strain, and replace it with k-train.

Possibly a bad pheno..I had 4 lemon skunks 3 where bomb one was weak as shit...no trichs and smelt like leaf...

What is that supposed to mean?

People who trash GHS don't know jack shit and probably have never smoked let alone grown any of their strains.

Anytime a company gets big, there is always some kid out there to put them down.

did you get a good look at the trichs?

I look for the meds that smell NASTY. A strong overpowering flavor you could say.
When I find the Near Organic Outdoor that has majority amber trichs and smells TOOO strong, Its my favorite!

That got me too, made me lol.

Sorry to hear your TW didn't turn out how you hoped though. Sucks to put all the time and effort into it and have it not turn out good. Had that happen with a Shiva Skunk I grew, I think mine dried too fast though, smelled like fresh cut grass after cured and tasted like it smelled.

might be that it taste/smelled like cut grass or hay is because you didnt dry properly

I'm very stoned-if it tastes like that then its the clorophyll

Normally rainwreck should have a very strong fruity smell with a sweet taste, at least if it's the Real McCoy.

I am curious though. How do you know what baby poo tastes like in the first place so you would then know your Trainwreck tasted like baby poo?

I'm pretty sure that's what it was, I didn't have a good place to dry the buds after I chopped and one ended up in an area that got too hot and it dried out pretty quick. The other was really good and it was further from the heat so I figured that was my problem. Not a problem anymore though as I now have a good place to dry.

i'm not being sarcastic here, but are you saying the weed has an actual fecal taste or do you just mean it tastes gross? i think blue cheese smells JUST like a loaded diaper but the taste is okay. basically i mean maybe that's just how your stuff tastes or how you percieve it to taste. do other people think it has a fecal taste?

no sarcasm taken Total head, all I meant(when i said pooey) was that when it grew it had a real amonia/rotten smell like when you get when you find one of those weird phenos
and when cured tasted earthy and hashy.

But the Trainwreck I grew was'nt the real trainwreck

dont think it is trainwreck as you can always smell a strong sweet smell hard to hide its that strong u must have got wrong seeds in order though if it gets u stoned wot the fuk u can call it strong shit lol

well guys, obviously i've never eaten shit. :) When I hit the trainwreck the thought that comes to mind is poo, or perhaps a sort of rotting meat. It's very nasty. Some of my friends like it though. The taste mostly comes from the smell, as our brains like to combine the two.

It has many trichs, red hairs and is a very nice looking bud. The buzz is pretty strong, but the cheese blows it away in terms of buzz, trich production and aroma.
