Couldn't have put that better myself. More people need to slow down and enjoy the smaller pleasures in life. I love to just look up at the stars on a clear night and just wonder over all the endless possibilities that lay just out of our reach. Or to just take a walk through the woods and listen to the wind blowing through the trees and the leaves rustling in the breeze. Just to slow down and appreciate the little wonders that are all around me makes the other bullshit in life a bit more bearable.

my posts come off a bit harsh sometimes. Working on it. I try not to post anything I have not had personnal experience with. Even if I have read about it.

Oh by the way I have been an electrician for 15 years. Specializing in process and motor control. If you need electricial help in the future just ask.

If I slowed down and enjoyed life anymore I'd fall asleep.

Hey brother no one has issues. I just wanted to make sure you understood natty right before and didn't think he was attacking you. I appreciate the offer to help with electrical shit, I'm sure i'll be taking you up on that eventually lol

Make sure you don't slow down to a narcoleptic pace and you'll be fine. lol

Hey guys, I'm new to this thread, but i read thru it and wanted to say high! I saw the comments about the MG, and I too started my plants in MG. I started to get a little nute burn however, so I switched to FF Ocean Mix and they just took off! The link is in my sig if anyone wants to check it out. I am excited to see how ur grow turns out man...I think us newbs should stick together LOL:peace:

Hey welcome. Thanks for stopping by. I agree, us newbs do need to stick together, with a little help from some experienced growers, lol. Gonna cruise on by your grow and see whats shaking.

I agree that there are far better suited soils and ferts out there to get the highest quality and biggest yeilds, and afterall for some that is the point. And to a certain degree for us all that's the point but, for us first time growers who are for the very first time putting any kind of seed into any kind of soil I think the MG line is a great starting point. It teaches us a lot of things that maybe we wouldn't have learned using the stuff you have to order. Things like not over feeding and burning them, or how important it is to not start with soil that has time released nutes in them. By no means am I saying that Miracle Grow All purpose plant food is the best choice for serious growers but it's not a bad start. I've never grown anything...ever and some how with a little love a shit load of attentiveness and Miracle Grow I'm growing smokable herb(as long as I get a female, fingers crossed) and to me that's just amazing. I know you don't mean any disrespect and I respect everyone's right to their opinion but as far as growing I seriously doubt I'm on the level you, or pretty much 99% of the RIU community, are on. I'm still amazed I can grow a plant in an attic. Fucking blows my mind. lol Let alone such a beautiful thing as an herb plant and ever better yet if I get a female I'll be growing goods in a fucking attic. That's the shit that gets me. It can be grown in an attic and some people fucking charge 70 an 1/8. UGH. Anyway sorry to rant on you but yeah that's why I love miracle grow... lol :mrgreen:
