Phone < 40x loupe < plant. Had to take a lot of shots because i couldnt keep a steady hand lol.

Day 50



So I've designated a couple of spots on the plant where I check trichs to see if she's close to being ready and what I've found is that she is still pushing out new trichs as well as pistils on some of the top colas; so my 2 week estimate may be longer than I had thought but we'll see. Other than packing on the trichs she's been packing on the weight as well and just looking really good overall. I will probably stick to my plan of ending nutes this weekend and just feeding straight water and/or 3% hydrogen peroxide until the last week of harvest where I'm going to switch over to FloraKleen and flush 2-3 times before chopping.

Day 53

Sure... why not? I cut her loose of any lsting I had done to her (pretty late, had planned to do it sooner, I should've done it a week ago at the very latest but spaced it). This will probably be my last update until the day of the chop. Just a couple of pics of her showing off the colas and her new found freedom from being bound.


These are just the 4 main colas on the left side of the container, there are 3 more on the right side that are about the same size.



Cola 1 & 2: These have been pretty much hidden throughout the grow in the pictures. I tied them down pretty good but still had an opening in the canopy to allow light for them. I'm hoping these last 2-3 weeks being untied they will grow and fatten up a bit more as they stretch towards the top.

Cola 3: This is the main cola. The last pic is a shot upward from the very top of the rack so you can see that she's filled out from the bottom of the rack all the way to the top of the cola. Pretty excited to chop her down and see what she weighs.

Cola 4: This was a cola that I did minimum training on, it lagged a bit because lack of light being pushed up against the sidewall of the case, but after some canopy control she started to flourish.

Note: You may notice that the orientation of the colas may differ from previous shots. Since my rack was attached to my container, that left me the ability to pull the container out, water her, and rotate her every feeding. So in some pictures my main cola is on the right and in some, on the left.



In the last pic Cola 1 is not present because her stem was too far out for me to get a shot of it.

I didnt manicure my plants at all during veg, purely lst and supercrop. Once flowering hit i just tried to keep things tidy. So i did some manicuring however it was at a minimum, i would say probably 2 fan leaves and/or low bud sites every other watering if needed because of space and redirecting growth (again not for yield but for usable space).

I would never manicure if i had an adequate amount of space available to let the plants grow. The thing with micro grows is that you can lst and supercrop but due to space issues youll either have tall big top colas by not trimming with ridiculously small popcorn nugs, or decent sized colas and decent sized popcorn nugs with trimming (just my opinion).

From what I grew and from all the reading I've done and comparing of people's grows, I would say lst all the way for a pc case. With a scrog you're going to have to let the plant grow/veg a lot before you have a decent canopy. Afterwards you'll throw it into flower where it will just bush out even more and stretch towards the light. Just thinking of all that work and all that cramped space gives me a headache. Then you also have to figure out how you're going to water her properly with a thick ass canopy and bushy leaves all over the place. Not to mention being able to thoroughly check her for mold, disease, etc.

Below are pics of a pc/cab/tent scrog. All the same idea.. however you can see how much room the plant has already taken up to develop an even canopy worth scrogging in the pc and how much the grower has left to develop colas; not very much.

Day 60



UPDATE!!

Couldn't resist, got a day off... surprisingly, so I decided to take some time and carefully go over my little stinky one and while I did, snapped a few pics. She's still pushing out some new white pistils and I've completely removed the middle canopy to allow light to the lower sites which I have noticed have made a HUGE difference in their size. Some of the little popcorn nugs are actually developing fan leaves the size of my top colas!

Actually at a crossroads here. Do I harvest in 2 different parts or just harvest everything on one day? The top colas aren't even done yet nor show any signs of finishing this week like I had hoped. Trich count has gone from 70% cloudy, 30% clear to 70% cloudy, 20% clear, and maybe 10% amber... (actually lower than 10%). I'm aiming for at least 80% cloudy 20% amber roughly.

Took a picture of the dynamic duo colas with a lighter for reference. Remember that the main cola there actually is filled all the way down to the rack, so there are still parts of it you can't see in the pic.

Shes still alive and kicking. New growth almost every other day and more and more pistils shooting out. Ive decided to harvest in two parts. Taking the top heads off this weekend and leaving the rest to thrive some more.

Why I was torn over this was because the top colas that have swelled so big look so dank and awesome that i wanted to do the 72hrs of darkness before chopping her down to force the buds to swell up more. However i decided for such a small grow that harvesting in 2 parts is going to be more beneficial yield wise rather than leaving the popcorn nugs as small as they were. Already they are fattening up nicely!! Ill have an update and more pics this weekend.


I also took a sample nug that is almost dried and cured (took it about 2 weeks ago) so ill have some sort of preharvest smoke report.
