Hmm I would say to order an auto, and breed it with either the Purple Widow, or The Pineapple Express!!! That way you could have some sick autoflower seeds!!!!

Any of you guys ever tried to pollinate a regular female with a male auto? I'm wanting to try and wondering if anyone else already has?

Well let's be logical about it, You already have some very nice Sativa strains going right now, with the Pineapple and the Purple Widow. So maybe either adding another Sativa to your grow is not such a good idea. Also from what I believe, my Sour D is a Sativa, as well as the Jack. So IMO to get a good cross breed you would want to do it with a pure indica, so that the offspring would have "Hybrid Vigor" and they will sometimes grow to be better plants than either parent. Or breed with an autoflower, so you have a potent sativa mixed with the auto gene, for shorter harvests.

I don't think any of us first timers have pollinated anything yet, but I could be wrong. Lets hope that someone a little more knowledgable could help answer that.

Shorter harvests when mixed with an auto you say? I like faster weed LOL. Do you know anyone who has actually tried it before?

Well shorter than a typical Sativa persay. Some Sativa's can have a 12 week flowering period. Now breed it with an indica, and you could reduce that flowering period to say maybe 9 months. Same goes for breeding a Sativa with a Ruderalis (Auto-Flower), not only should the offspring autoflower, but the flowering time ahould be shorter than the 12 months for the mother, but a little longer for what the auto would normally take to flower.

Also, even better than pollinating a female with a male auto flower, is to make a female auto go hermie, take some of the pollen, and then pollinate another female, the result would be feminized auto flowering seeds.
