hey i was wondering my plant didnt show any of those balls in the whole veg state then wen it went into flowering it started growing these balls all over is it a normal part of budding or is it a male ?
that depends on how long you veg, it won't show sex during veg unless it's mature enough...
Balls generally means male...

Hi all whats the best temp range for drying buds hung on string
and do you think a bowl of salt in the cupboard help bring down humidity??? just as an extra
You would probably want it around the mid 70's, and I have no idea, never heard of salt as a dehumidifier

my temps vary from 65f to75 in the place where their drying' is that ok???
The salt thing I saw un a vid or grow guide somewhere seems to work as over time the salt clumps up.

The damage has been done and the leaves can not recover, do as you wish, it really won't have much impact...flushing was the only thing you could do...

hard to tell on the pics but they are there :P

Well, the best ready-to-use soil on the market ATM, is Fox Farm Ocean Forest, IMO, but I would add a bit of cheap perlite to increase aeration...

Kinda hard to see, but in the 3rd pic, I would probably say it's a male...sorry for the bad news man...

I'm going to start my first DWC grow soon. I know rockwool has a very high initial ph. Whats the best & quickest way to neutralize it? Rinse it with distilled water? Soak it? How long should I rinse or soak it for before dropping my germinated seed in?

Thanks in advance.

Rockwool cubes should be soaked in pH'd water for around 12-24 hours before they are used...

what is your opinion on 48hours of darkness just before harvest to increase potency?

Awesome thread!!
It's actually 36 hours, well, that's what I do anyways, but I do believe it does help increase yield and potency, but only by a little...
And thanks Stoney!
