Need help! Grow tent Issues !

everything in my grow has gone wrong!

so far i'm growing in my room, the rooms is kept at around 70-73..
my grow tent is 3 feet wide 3 feet deep 6 feet tall. i have a 1000watt mh bulb in a cool hood i also have a carbon filer and in inline fan with around 450 cfm..

my temps stay in the 90's..

mind you the exhaust hose goes out a window

i also have a portable a/c that was pumping a/c into the tent but wasn't really helping

im willing to take any advice and to answer any question.

this is my setup.

Either a bigger fan, or a second fan to increase the air pressure, as your carbon filter and turns will reduce your flow dramatically, adding another fan to the system will increase the pressure, therefore increase the flow through the restrictions. Consider also finding someone to trade the 1000 for a 600, would help a lot in itself, and that is still a lot of light for a 3x3. Making sure to limit the number of 90 degree or greater turns in your ducting will also help to increase air flow.

hoping to make thing works with what i already have..

wouldn't sucking air thru the fan and then thru the hood and out the tent help remove the heat from the bulb?

Yeah, but it sounds like you mean remove the carbon filter. That is up to you, but there is a reason we all own one. If you plan to leave the filter on then isn't that exactly what your picture shows?

naw i totally want to keep the filter lol...
im just doing something wrong there has to be a proper ventilation setup..

so far i've tried the air coming in thru the filter ducting fan ducting hood ducting exhaust

Can you vent the AC into one of the lower vents and place your filter at the top of the tent.
Heat raises to the top of the tent and should be sucked out of the top of tent.
AC into one of the bottom vent to help cool the canopy area before it heats up and raises to the top.

Just something to try.

I have a 2x4x5 tent with a 400w mh i run my window ac straight through the hood and have a 4" booster fan on the out. I have one fan on the inside blowing up at the lamp. Tomorrow im installing a carbon filter and fan. my temps have been staying around 81. I feel like my tent is gonna collapse if i hang any more stuff up.

dude its so hot in there because you have a damn 1000 watt metal halide it might possibly be cool enough at that wattage if you used high pressure sodium instead but still thats pushing it for that size closet id say do for 400 watt hps or 600 if you really have to but honestly because of size your yield wont necessarily increase just because you have a way large light

about to go to bed....

but i did move the filter to the top,and moved the fan outside the tent...seeing as i have little to no room for things in the tent

so my set up goes like this...air goes in thru the filter ducting hood ducting fan ducting/exhaust

my temp dropped to 82 degrees at the bottom of the tent and 95 by the light

tomorrow i'll install the ducting to run cold air from the bottom and see what happens.

also i heard from alot of people that 400w/600w/1000w create a equal or not noticable difference in temp, as of right now im gonna try to run experiments on what i have and see what i can do...
so far ive taken a few advices and dropped around 10 degrees...things are finally looking bright
