need help or info....!!!!!....

hello everyone, im fairly new to the whole grow thing but have spent countless hours researching and learning. To start this off, i am a new grower with no experiance whatsoever in this field. i want to start out a small grow indoors thats a basic, small set up, maybe 2 or 3 plants at most. i was thinking of using autoflowering feminized seeds to start. i would be setting up in a closet area. i guess what im asking for is help in figuring out what types of lighting and nutrients and soil and things of that nature i would need to be sucessful in this attempt. once again im only looking to try a small basic set up for a personal grow on a regular basis, not a huge, complicated grow, just 2 or 3 plants tops. Any help with this or info i may need to help me would be hugely appreciated, thanks in advance!!​
 
Look into Fox Farm soil and General Hydroponic nutrients. I've seen people have great grows with Jacks Classics, but I've never used it. You could do a 250w MH/HPS light for your needs.
 
good lookin out on the help, also one more thing, what type of pot would be the best to grow in, considering it will be a small grow?
 
A 3 gallon would be perfect for an autoflower, but get the biggest ones you can fit because the more roots the better.
 
well. everyone and their mom wil sware by something.

but a trusted company I know A LOT use is Foxfarm. Including Myself. I have also used Advance nutrients and Botanicare.

My best results in soil were

Fox farm Ocean Forest soil.

I can give you a link to an amazing feeding schedual. greatly to reduce nute burn if you follow. adjust to plant response

Instead of Slenge Hammer flush I use Clearex from botanicare.

I do not do the bushdoctor as you cannot get the product!!

If you have the money you can use great white mycorrhizae instead.

This will set you up for success. I have NEVER killed a plant using this !!!
 
Adjust the schedual to your Autoflower. when you start to see it shoot then turn light to 12/12 and start 12/12 foxfarm schedual

Actually autoflowers don't need 12/12 and in fact do better on 20/4 or even 18/6. But yeah just switch the nutes when your plant starts flowering.
 
if i were you.had a chance to start over and not waste money on dumb shit.i would buy.
1x600w(or 400W trust me once u start ur gonna wanna go atleast a little bigger.
save yourself alot of hassle and buy a tent.3x3 or 4x4 100$-150$ shipped
if noise isnt an issue get a stanley blower at walmart 45$
if stealth is key get a 6inch vortex fan 190$
most people get a cool tube but i think AC reflectors are better all around.but u can get a cool tube for 60$plus ship

Dude read the thread...he wants a "small basic setup".....you don't NEED a 400w and you don't need blowers and inline fans and A/C lmao...
 
if u want to grow dank,yield good,FF Trio nutes is really all u need. and to that other dude how the hell do u kill a weed in soil?????ive never killed a plant on accident.
 
thanks for help on this, im gonna peep out all the info everybody gave me and see whats good with it. if i got some more questions im gonna get back at ya'll, which im sure im gonna need to, like i said, this is my first attempt at this so ya know how that goes. all i got are the seeds so far. i have not even started gathering up the rest of whats needed, thats why im on here asking to get the best info. im gonna get back with ya'll, if there is anything else i need to know, please get at me with info. like i said, its a small grow of maybe 2 or 3 plants to start and i just wanted the basic set up with the soil to use, what nutes and whatever else i need to keep it simple and plain ya digg, thanks....

sure. but if you do not cut light once flower starts it can slow your GROW brother..I cut autos to12/12 once flower starts
 
I disagree, next grow try keeping it 20/4 and see if you harvest more... a lot of people just keep their light on the whole grow and just switch bulbs when it starts showing hairs. When you cut down the light the plant makes less energy therefore smaller plant and less harvest.
 
what do u consider small??cfl ??400W aint shit buddy.if u want to keep that light cool,yes u need a blower or inline.if its 95degrees outside all the fuckin time.you need an AC.go shit on another plant.
 
that was a very basic setup.sorry it wasnt a cardboard box with some cfls and a security light.if u want to grow some dank u have to spend a little money up front.
 
Bud you're talking about $600 worth of shit he doesn't really need for what he is trying to do. He's not trying to grow the best bud the fastest with an unlimited budget. He wants a BASIC setup for a couple plants in a closet. OP ingnore this guy, you can always upgrade once you get more experience if that's what you want to do....you don't need all that shit he listed.
