Actually shithead, ya, 5 gallons of soil. For a healthy 3-4 ft regular plant, or for autos, since they have large root structures for a short stocky plant. If you want a decent yield & no nutrient lock up or deficiency you don't want your plant root bound in a little ass pot. Please by all means post some pics of what your grow & yield looks like with a smaller pot. I have one 3 gallon pot out of 15, the rest are in 5 gallon buckets. I'm sorry but the plant in the 3 gallon is smaller than all but 2 plants in my entire room, & those were stressed out from hot compost & didn't grow right. A 12 ft tall plant in a 5 gallon bucket would have to be watered twice daily in most summer climates. If you can find a 12 ft. tall plant indoors please show me.5 gallons of soil??? Not hardly unless you are growing a 12' tall plant under a 1000w sodium/halide mix.. lmao...
