Are you having temp problems? Do you have access to a window near by that can be used as intake/exhaust?

@COCO0419 i also use a 10x10 room but without tents. The room is air conditioned but my hoods are air cooled passively with outside air and i have absolutely no issues with smell or temps as long as the door is closed.

If your using a filter then always have it within the tent. You can have the fan outside but it means drawing hotter air through the fan.
Filter is not really necessary with just seedlings but eventually you will have to redesign when you need to add the filter so may as well do it the way it will stay to start with.

Edit and yes despite it been 2016 I am actually wearing turned up jeans!bongsmilie
Like I've been trying for 7months and havent seen NOTHING!!!! I am truly ready to give up but im kind of too far in financially and wish I could figure what the hell the problem is....WHAT AM I DOING WRONG!!!! Far as me having to redesign my set up NOT REALLY WORRIED ABOUT HAVING TO DO THAT-- DOESN'T SEEM LIKE IM EVER GONNA GET TO THE POINT WHERE I WOULD NEED TO FILTER ANY SMELL OUT...SO COULD YOU SHOW ME A SET UP WITHOUT USING THE FILTER, I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!!

You showed a pic with filter outside your tent, I'm not sure my second suggestion is the same as the set up you have been trying. I'm just trying to help. I don't see one light in a 4x4 tent within a 10x10 room been such a problem, even if you cant vent outside.
I prefer my first idea. I run a 4x8 in flower and my fan is probably 5 times the size of yours as far as dimensions because its an 8"isomax acoustic. My filter is 200x600mm the fan sucks through filter pushes through cooltubes(x3) then out of the tent, the cooltubes are slightly lower than the fan, it all fits without any headroom problems.

Right if you want to run without a filter... >>>>Cooltube>>>>FAN>>>out of tent the arrows are the airflow, you could reverse the airflow too to avoid pulling hot air through the fan. You would have one end of the cooltube open to suck air through or if reversed one side of the fan open (not ducted) then the other ducted blowing into the cooltube then ducted to outside the tent, preferably as far away as possible.

Your main problem is you have been using a duct boosting fan attached to your filter, that wont work, the filter causes resistance that the duct booster cant handle. Swap fans so your proper fan is attached to filter or just cooltube if you don't want filter in use. Use the duct booster to bring air from close to your AC unit into the lowest point of your tent. All that matters is your tent is cooler.

What temps are you getting the way you have been trying?

Like I said before I prefer to not suck hot air through my fan but it wont explode or catch fire either way.

Don't give up.
Edit. By the way in the picture above the top diagram, the fan is entirely in the tent, the open end is within the tent. It may not be clear from my shit drawings!

dude, we've shown you a whole tutorial on how to set up a fan with and without a filter. how the fuck hot is your house anyway? get a real inline fan, not a cheap pos booster fan, and vent it out a window, problem solved. get at LEAST a 4 inch 190 cfm INLINE fan, and blow that shit outside. if you dump hot air back into a 10x10 room, its gonna get hot, then your tents gonna get hot, then your plants suffer.
the window shaker you have in the room ought to be able to keep it cold enough, if you get rid of the heat instead of letting it build up in the room forever

filter then light then fan. fan can be out side of tent theres no problem with that since its a air cool hood why do you need ac air in your tent is the room that you grow in that hot maybe that's why your having trouble with seedlings to cold with ac in your tent
