so just put some clones in 5 gal grow bags under a 1000. heat is not a prob. but from the stem out is turning yellow. plus the leafs are floppy curled down. do you think its just shock? PH? NUTS? there in a green house.
need some help???? Pease please please

well i misted them with rain water last night then again this morning. after that i added 1/2 a cup wood ash plus two tsp of house and garden root exten. they didnt look better this morning so i was hoping that will perk them up. i also raised the light half a foot.

1000 watts of what? HPS, MH? Fluorescents?
With any of them, I'd say lower the wattage.

its a 1000 hps and i cant lower the watts thats all i have to use. but i only run it for a few hours in the morning then a few at night inless its rainy outside of heavy forcast. there in a greenhouse.

You don't say how many clones you are growing. I'm assuming they are all under 3 inches, yes?
It would take a lot of clones to need that kind of wattage while so young. Save money, and your plants......use flo's for your clones.
They are inexpensive and provide appropriate light penetration in aiding new growth.

there 6 of em in 5 gal grow bags.......what the fuck is going on so yesterday they all pirk up i leave they were looking fine. one of the train wrecks still looked a lil better. so this morning fuck fuck fuck there all back to leafs curling down and from the very top nod its there turning yellow from the middle out???????????????the soil seemed try to me also. it seems to dry out real quick. i used organicare soil plus added perilte enstead of fox farm.....so my guess is that there nitrogen or iron, or magnesim diff... or all three. yet to give them ferts cause they havnt even been in the grow bags a week. there about 8 in tall..........any ideas?????????PLease

fuck idk maybe its the PH but i dont think so. i tested it already with Ph of 6.0 to 6.5 which is a lil low but not bad. but i did use one of those $5 walmart ones. that u add the pill dirt and water then shack the shit out of it.

you need to do some more research before you try cloning again....... did you cut them yourself or did you get them already rooted..?
clones don't need a lot of light,,it sounds like yours have had too much of both light and heat.... I keep my fresh clones in a incubator so I can keep the humidity high.....until I can see loads of roots growing through the medium,,,then I transplant them and put them under cfls for a few weeks before they go anywhere near a hps......

Really! Research is your friend here.
Clones need VERY little light and greenhouse+1000w HPS+5 gal grow bags does not sound like it's going to be successful.
It's not hard, but you're going to have to do some reading and watch the cloning vids on youtube.

why would a green house not work this way??? the clones are from oaksterdam they had a good amount of roots on the bottem. i added a lil firts today and didnt emprove much. the light thing maybe that could be moved up im going to raise me light a foot or two more so it would be almost 5 feet away from the tops. it gets some what cold in there during night so i have a heater in there?????

If the temperature is not going below 60, don't bother with heat. If anything, that may hinder growth moreso than help.
At this stage, your clones should not be receiving anything more than a very light dose of fertilizers...say fish emulsion at most. Also take into consideration not adding anything to your soil with clones, as it will burn the leaves and inhibit growth.
What you need right now is a very "flat" medium surrounding that root.

ah ok that confirms what i was thinking because even with proper ventilation which it sounds like you have, you can still get the lights too close. needless to say i can put my 400 watter closer than your 1000. here's a chart i found really helpful =D right now i have my light approximately 6 inches from the tops of the plants and they're growing 1/2"-1" a day!

so fml oaksterdam clones suck i have never had so many problems with any plant my whole life. now one of my quarkle is fucked up. the top leafs are curling up mostly the tips. then a yellow to grayish brown. pretty sure there going to dry up and die. which sucks cuz there mostly the new growth from last week. every other plant looks great and the strawberry cough is growing like weed haha the Ph is good in all of them maybe it gets a lil high like 7.1 7.2 but all are 7.0 to 6.7 after i give them some water and nuts. its been raining alot so i have been usein rain water plus alaska fish firts and house and garden root exceller. with all together and mixed up is a 6.5ish PH. the water is 7.0 from the rain and my PH tester has a basic NUts meter in it and says the rain water is ideal. i flushed that lil bitch out last night and she looks better today as i gave the rest of my plants some nuts. i give them a half gal of water then a half gal of nuts every other day. all looks pretty good except that one quarkle. they all are still recovering from being a lil to close to the light with some light green on the tops but looks to improve 10 fold every day since i raised the lights. so anyways grower to grower i need some advice cuz i search the web with these problems and i get every this from a nuts diff to a nuts burn or to much wind or less water or more water. so many different anwsers for me i need the blunt truth. also going to pick up my firts on monday the good ones. would u use advance or house and garden.
