you should really read the communist manifesto.
Communism: Communal Ownership of the "means of production", and management by an elected commission of the workers who operate the factory/farm/whatever.
Socialism: the State owns and administers the means of production during the "re-education" of the proletariat in the "science" of marxism before implementation of the "Worker's Paradise" above.
Fascism: a middle ground between socialism and bourgeois capitalism developed and polularized by Benito Mussolini around 1910.
i realize wikipedia is a "highly reliable authority" on all things, but the communist manifesto describes socialism and communism pretty good... ill take wikipedia's word as writ on things like "hilarious Revisions by Willy on Wheels" and "Being Dead Wrong" and "Failing to Understand the Average Internet Jackoff is an Ignorant Putz" but on issues of political science and political theory... yeah not so much.

Doc, It's real simple.Socialism tells you to make 3 TVs.Fascism regulates the supply chain so no matter how hard you work, only 3 TVs are made. In communism no TVs are made because they're all content sharing the single TV amoungst the three of them.

in socialism 3 TVs are mandated, they have no food, no clothing, and in fact no electricity ration to use the TV's but they got em. yep. plenty of TV's for everybody.
in fascism the TVs have no Off switch and no volume control, or channel selector, and The Dear Leader is on 24/7 with slow motion films of himself riding a horse through a field of turnips... viva el preisdente.
in communism NO TV's are made, they all simply stare at the spot where it would be if anybody actually had an incentive to go make a TV.
Pretty much tells me only IDIOTS would bother striking against such a poorly run company. Either stick or quit, striking was just the height of stupidity.
