I think it just depends on the bottle size. I've seen a small pump bottle like that repel that's 100%, but the aerosols I do believe are 40-50%. I never noticed much difference between them either and always opted for bigger aerosols. The fans don't sound like a bad idea. My dad always swore by garlic pills, but that seems to works better for some people than others, and I always seemed to be one of the others. lol

If anyone has a problem with 5-gallon buckets, and need a cheap, if not free alternative, go to a restaurant that fries a lot of food, ask one of the cooks to hold a few of the jugs the oil comes in. They are light weight, can hold at least 5 gallons, and have a lid that screws on. I have a couple I plan on rolling out next summer.

Started the season with Spinosad and burnt a few leaves, though the stuff works great it's only for bugs. I'm now using safer 3 in 1

Maybe when I get some time bro. In a nutshell it's about reading the plants, dialing in your nutes, location is key, and I prefer to haul in my own mix rather than ammend the native soil. Big holes = big plants. You take out what you put in, it's hard work. Proper preperation is a must.
Not really sure at this point. I only have 1 strain that I've grown outside before so we'll see, So far so good though.

i put some down, and they deterd whatever it was from comming back, infucking genious!! but i noticed after it rained the other day they had dissolved or some shit.

I re-apply about 4 or 5 times through out the season. It's very cheap so why not.

They're all males! They've got balls. Females don't and are called simply moths.

I'm in N.E. also. First real grow and outside.
Keeping to a low profile I'm pinching the tops to make it stay low and bushy. I'm learning,,, but still don't know anything.
Can I continue the pinch until a few weeks before flowering light (12/12)? I believe that will be around late Sept. by the charts.Am I hurting anything serious this way?
Planting was sudden and spur of the moment with fostered hand-me-downs from a guy. Suposedly "killer bag seed" (meaning who knows what to expect

That would put us into Thanksgiving time for a predicted ripe harvest and I know we'll have a killing frost by then.
Obviously there is something wrong with the way I'm thinking on this. But, search as I am I can't figure out what is wrong with my thinking.
I'm sure they must be ready to harvest before November's frost. What am I planning wrongly here?????

They'll start flowering about a month before true 12/12 light. Sometime between the summer solistice, a week or so ago, and natural 12/12 light in late September. So you're looking at more like late August to early September.
Indicas are usually done by about Halloween and pure Sativas more towards Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Usually flower in aug som time. The problem you have is un known genetics. For all you know it could be a sativa dominant and actually go till november. I'm not much for pinching or topping. I'd just bend them over and spread out the canopy as much as possable.
