Netanyahu, you're screwed

I so hope we can string together a "you're screwed" list of right winger leaders and right wing groups.

Yesterday, Israelis delivered a great big "you're screwed" to Netanyahu's ability to claim the Trump defense -- Can't file criminal charges on a sitting president. Once out of office, he will be charged with corruption. He's going to jail and then just become a bad memory.

Netanyahu isn't going to be the next prime minister and citizen Bibi will face the music. This has to be the end of Israel's talk of annexing the Jordan Valley.

To those who like talking of Israel as if it were some monolithic fascist state. Just wear the egg on your face. It improves your appearance.

The Likud lost by one vote, but the right/ultra right wing still have too be reckoned with.
Good starting point though, definitely, but we shall see where this all ends up as far as Palestine is concerned

The idea that Netanyahu's statement about annexing the Jordan valley -- is some new policy proposal -- is surprising. That has been talked about for twenty years. Netanyahu (and other Israeli right wing leaders) policy to annex has been stopped before. They have never found an answer to the question of what to do with 3.2 million non-Israeli residents in the Jordan Valley. If they brought in everybody with full citizenship, the voting demographics would change to the point where those right wing politicians would be out of power permanently. Not that Israels fascist right would hesitate to implement apartheid. Most people in Israel and the rest of the world would not favor that.
