Taking a plant in flower and putting it in 18/6 will re-veg it. Eventually.
Taking a plant in flower and interrupting it's 12 hour sleep cycle with light will induce it to herm. It's one of the ways people get feminized seeds. It's just not as effective as chemicals like silver nitrate.

K, final weight on the topped auto cheese was 180.7 grams or 6.37 oz. Not too shabby for a "never top an auto". Almost as much weight as I pulled from 4 plants on my last grow. Happy campin! I haven't smoked any yet but, during my 7 hour trimming session, I stayed high off scissor hash the whole time so it should be decent. That pipe needs a serious cleaning after that. 
Larf came out to just over 18 grams. Going in the Magic Butter machine at some point. Not sure what it's destined to become yet.
Sugar trim and fans got run across the TrimBin screen for ~2.5 hours last night until I got super bored of it. Just over 2 grams of kief. Gonna get an alcohol wash this weekend just to see what will still come out of it. Thinking about picking up a coupla silk screens for kief in the future.
I really need to find a good way to make canna e-juice. I have about 10 lifetimes worth of high end battery mods, tanks and rebuildable atomizers so I figure it's about time for some experimentation.
Also, culled one of the Bloody Skunks yesterday. Really bad genetics. I let her go for just over 3 weeks and she never left "full retard" mode. Her twin is doing extremely well so there's still that. Just means the next topped auto adventure has to wait until the dueling Amnesia's finish and I start a pair of Mephisto's. Gotta pick between Ripleys OG, Sour Bubbly and Heisenburg Special. Anyone have a 3 sided coin?

I want to keep the lights 20/4...but last night about hour 12 the damn temp was 90. grrrrrrrrrrr

"There is a lot of research that suggests that cannabis plants can only process a certain amount of light per day. After that level has been reached, the plant can no longer absorb more light, and any additional light is essentially wasted. By breaking the light cycle into multiple 6 hour periods, the plant is able to rest and process the light it has received. When the lights come back on 2 hours later, the plant will be ready to process additional light, allowing you to get the most plant growth out of every minute your lights are on.
At a biological level, cannabis’s inability to grow more once it has received a certain amount of light can be attributed to the way the plant processes carbon dioxide (CO2). A majority of the mass accumulated in cannabis is associated with the amount of CO2 found inside plant cells. While under light, cannabis tries to prevent CO2from leaving its cells by cutting off transpiration. However, this prevents new CO2 from entering into the cell, blocking new growth. When the lights are turned off, and no photosynthesis is occurring, the plant is able to absorb new CO2 into its cells.
Additionally, when plants are exposed to 18 straight hours of intense light, they become stressed. Signs of stress - droopy or curled leaves - will usually appear towards the end of the light cycle. While some stress can be beneficial to plant growth, too much stress can cause harm to your plants and prevent them from reaching maximum growth potential.
Giving plants 6 hours of intense light at a time not only puts less stress on the plants, it also spread out the load on your cooling system over a longer period of time. The cooling system works the hardest when lights are on. By turning off the lights for 2 hours at a time throughout the day, your cooling system will get a break between light cycles, allowing the room to be cooled to desired temperatures before the lights come back on. With a properly sized cooling system, this benefit will be minimized as the system will be designed to handle the heat load throughout the entire light cycle.
While there are many approaches to Veg light cycles for cannabis, a 6/2 schedule allows for maximum plant growth. A 6/2 schedule allows plants to process more intense light, prevents plants from becoming stressed and puts less stress on your cooling system. It’s a win all around. Give your plants a break every 2 hours and you’ll be amazed at the results."

It was a Canuck seeds freebie Auto Cheese and yeah she had a pretty potent earthy cheesy smell most of her life. Now it has a very sour cheese odor.
This was the only one of 3 strains that I had good luck with from Canuck seeds. All freebies though so, whatever.

My son just sent me the link to the new tent he ordered me. It is a 48x24x72 (compared to my 36x20x60) Bless his heart. AND...it should fit better than the mamouth 4X4X6.5! God, if i only DID have the room for it...wow.

Run each light for 6 hours, but in sequence; run one for 6 hours, then have the other one run. Overlap the on times so it doesn't go dark. This way you get light on both sides of the plant and it won't heat up nearly as much.

I decarboxylated 26g of bud and 22g of popcorn and trim today. Mixed it in a quart jar with 700ml of vg. Now I have a month to learn about vape machines and flavorings.
Also started an everclear tincture with same amount of herb. Plan to concentrate it 50% when done. Use it for cooking, in coffee or just under the tongue.
Mine is 80" tall

Generally, anything more then 12hrs of light will interrupt flowering. It's when the plant strarts getting enough light to neutralize the flowering hormone florigen that is produced during the dark period. I've never heard of using it to self pollinate a plant. Interrupting the dark period will only cause herms if they are genetically predisposed, those aren't plants I'd be looking to breed. I'd want stable genetics I'd have to force to self pollinate.

Hey, I didn't recommend it, but it will produce fem seeds. If you were a shoestring breeder, light leeks might be your friend.
All I said is it will induce herms and produce seeds.......

Does infusing VG like that work? My buddy just got some no flavor no nicotine 50/50 vg/pg he wants me to mix some concentrate into. He supposed to be looking up settings, he's got a coupe dozen modded vapes to choose from.
Watch straight Everclear under the tongue, it's like putting a match out.

Anything over 100 proof isn't supposed to be sold in mass. It can be hard to find. Luckily I go to RI on a regular basis, and they have everything.
But you can buy 195 ethanol in 55 gallon drums on the net, All for scientific purposes of course.
