When is it most busy with vendors? And when is it most busy with customers? I imagine Wenesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday? When people get paid. Any other hot times to check it out. I want to make the most of the mileage.
Tuesdays are good days. At first Tuesday was the only night the G3C was open but it got very popular and had to start opening the doors on other days.

My friend vends there on Tuesdays and he says Wednesdays and Saturdays are hot also.....

Now that they have a visiting area again...... thinking about going back and checking it out. When it was vend only it got boring, before that we used to go every Tuesday night.

Been planning on showing up every week for the last month but I can't seem to hold on the the overages long enough to get there. Not complaining though. Maybe the week after next?

I'm obviously a new member to this website, but I've been reading this thread (and others) by you guys (growery, homeless, bigtaco etc.). It seems like all of us are in need of the same thing- a small, well rounded, somewhat private community or market in the Detroit area. At the beginning of this thread you acted like gc3 was the place to be. But the further you read it become's more apparent that they became a bullshit corporation instead of a casual place for patients and caregivers to meet and greet. The result is a room full of shady people...

One of you mentioned in another thread (think it was growery) something about an email distribution for a small group of people looking to trade clones, overages etc. Good call man, I think that's a great idea. I'm fairly new to Michigan and it's been surprisingly difficult to meet "real" people in the mmj community

I'm responding to this thread because you all seem like a level headed group of guys with the same goals as me. It'd be cool to smoke a J and share some ideas, let me know.

Best,
Brent

You just include me with the "level headed" guys! Oh thats good shit. I personnally would like to see something closer to Saginaw. I have thought the G3C was a great place and have had no problems there. Then I again I have only been there 3 or 4 times and usually sell out within minutes. I would guess that the problems there are mostly the people with low quality products sniffling over the fact that no one wants there weed. Just my guess.

Great post. My feelings 100%. What about a RIU farmers market?

G3C just went through tripling in size this past October, they are experiencing growing pains for sure. As a great man once wrote (Ozzy) "life is a stage and we're all in the show". Just take a look around you, we have no lack of eccentrics (myself included) within our community. If someone could figure out a way to harness all us freaks and our energy we would be unstoppable ;)

Lakes Grown is a great idea that works today. I think MJ brick & mortar has come a long way, but still has many battles ahead of it. It is the P2P networking that we forge here, and elsewhere like Lakes Grown, that has allowed our local market to become competitive with the worlds finest. Now coming off the street and into the business world is not an easy feat. You'll find all the same low lifes and cons, they'll just be talking legalese rather than jive ;) In reality though, without us there are no brick & mortars ...

I'm finishing off (phenohunting) a Black Cherry Soda x SpaceQueen cross that is showing some mad promise :weed: I was thinking about a Lakes Grown, clone only, distribution as LG's Lakes Blown :bigjoint:

TheMan, that's exactly what I'm saying! There's a lot of us here trying to network outside the shifty characters on Craigslist. Put a few minds together and you never know.....

Homeless, I didn't mean to offend you by calling you "level headed" lol. Just seems like you all have your shit together, and as much as a passion for growing quality meds as I do. ;-)

Forget about g3c. I like Growerys post on starting something new closer to home. I'm on board

G3C for the most part is a very positive establishment and a leader for our movement in the flint metro community. They have made giant leaps and bounds since the days of the cafeteria style tables and crowded walk ways.

As for a room full of shady people, the only thing causing shady people is the less than ample lighting. G3C will have a bad apple from time to time, but don't let one bad apple spoil what has been god send to so many thousands of patients and caregivers. Just my two cents.

Please don't think I'm misjudging, I've never been. I only know what I know from other patient/caregiver reviews. The reviews start off great, but all went to shit over the last few months.

It appears to me they have a lot of organizational mishaps that create problems for (newer) qualified caregivers to rid some of their overages. Almost like a "tight" organization that only allows a few hand selected caregivers to to donate their products. It would be nice to see something similar on a more private level. A safe place for patients to obtain medication/clones etc in a reliable and legit manner, that's all I'm trying to say.

I believe G3C's streak of bad reviews is a mix of internal and external strife coming across with unintended consequences of such. I personally know many of the regular cast there, weekly and monthly vendors, as well as many regular flower sniffing members such as myself :weed: That said, I do not see an all out civil war brewing there and believe time will heal all wounds. G3C is currently a shining beaker of hope within our MMMP movement. I will only embrace this organization harder as they see hard times and will give my all to ensure they make it through it.

all true. But if I can't get a seat at the table there is not much I can do. I would hav rather given away my last clones to gc3 members rather than a dispensary. I they can't find a way to allow RD aka moonshine* a seat??????

Belle has had trouble getting tables. She travel a day down, and a day back. If there is no way that she is able to obtain a booth, then that place
is fucking useless to me. That's just the way it is. She said once you reserve a table then they really get into your shit and want percentages of what
you do. She says that's how they are getting shady, trying to sort through who they feel they will profit the most off of. She says that's the greed of
a few of them. I told her, if they want 10%, then give them 15-20% and make them happy, so that when they start acting like shifty, greedy fucks,
then they will look out for her. She doesn't see things like that. She thinks that if they have a policy they should just stick with that, but they don't.
Rare Dankness waited there several hours, they had a table, that by their policy would have been his, problem lies when someone waits several hours
for a booth, then the place has a brief "policy change".
If they don't want her traveling from the UP and offering clones there, then they should let her know so she doesn't waste any more time with this fucking
club and will move on. A few times I was irritated, but after this last trip, ya, I'm past fucking irritated with them. When I hear others having the same
problem from out of town, then I know it's the way operate, not just Belle getting screwed by some asshole that works there.

None of these missed reservation stories of late sound good, nor would that be acceptable to me personally. I wish I had an answer, but I have yet to vend there. I'm thinking that there must be a way for membership to address these issues?
