New Farmer

Well I just got going growing my own. Always considered myself a coinsurer of fine cannabises so I figure I would try to grow some of my own.
Seeds came from Growers Choice, and I am using the Botanicare line of nutrients.
I currently have Critical Purple, Cream and Tangerine Dream in one tent. I am thinking that 2 of these might be about ready. I was late but just started hitting them with the Sweet from Botanicare.

I am thinking of starting the flush in 2 days and not really sure of the process.

Should I flush before any wet trimming or lights out time or flush after I put them in the dark? Do I trim the large fan leaves before flushing? Not really sure the best route here. Help if ya would.

Don't flush. Feed until harvest. Once they are ready chop and dry. Wet trim vs dry trim is personal preference and also will depend on your drying environment. Check out the drying and curing section for more info.

The cream still has weeks to go before it's ready. The Critical Purple is foxtailing a lot and has time before ready though. The first picture is the only one closest to finish. Hard to tell which is which overall though.

Congrats on starting your own grow. As with anything experience and practice will improve your overall results. I'd recommend photoperiods going forward. GL.

Thank you Sir. Yes, I have been told that as well about going photo instead of autoflowers. I just popped 5 Bruce Banner seedlings , they are feminized photo and not auto.
Those plants are nearing the end of the 10th week which will be Sunday.

Overall you'll find photo quality is better than autoflowers. You'll have control on when they flower, if you want larger plants veg them longer. If you encounter issues in veg fix them then flip to flower. When you flower 12/12 uses less electricity. Lots of benefits.

? This is a close up of the critical purple with the "Foxtailing", not sure what that is. I assume the ends of the leaves pointing down?


This is a close up of the "1st Picture" that you mentioned was close. Kinda hard for me to tell. I am thinking another week on em but I want to pick them at its best. Thanks in advance.

Foxtailing is just when the calyx stack vertically in top of themselves. Usually they form clusters in normal flowers. Sometimes it's from stress either heat or light stress, and sometimes it's just genetics. I've noticed my autoflowers foxtail more than photoperiods.

The one from the first picture could go a week and be ready to harvest. The others probably have two weeks or more. The Cream definitely has two or three weeks left.

Im really sorry to blow the thread up but when you say ready in a week what does that mean exactly? Are you saying this next week I should start the dark days, then trimming, flushing. Or just start these final preps after another week of feeding and growing?
