New Grow, Comments on setup wanted

I am a relative noob to this scene but a relatively well informed noob nonetheless. Just looking for a few tips and tricks of the trade to make this one work out for me.

First of all, made the typical noob choice and planted my babies in MG soil, and purchased MG nutes.....yes they got burned, yes i added more nutes and they got worse, did some research and righted the ship, learned my lesson and all is well atleast thus far. Experience is the mother of all learning.

Plants were planted in 3 gal pots, about 12" wide at the mouth, no transplanting here.

Used the 23watt CFL's during seedling stage, only 2 (only lamps i had) then moved to (1) 150 hps for about 1 week and added a second about 3 weeks into veg (as $$ allowed)

My space is the good ol hydro tent, 2'x4'x5' with white lining, i have 2 4" massey standard circular fans exhausting air out the top, (2) 8" turbo fans, one blowing on each hps lamp, all the passive air intakes open at bottom and one small osci-fan in the middle front bringing air in and sitrring the air under the branches

My setup does not allow for cool air to be ducted to the tent (but AC air from flr level blown in middle front of tent) and exhausting would be quite a chore to send it anywhere but out into the headspace of my room

Temps with the CFLs were around 73-77, with one hps they moved up to 79-83, and with both hps, 84-90 (but air is farrr from stagnant) 90 feels like 75 to my hand, only "hot" directly under light, which are now approx 17-20" from plant tops

The little ladies are all nearing a month old and are all right at about a foot with great branching, however my biggest question, is it my above average temperatures or my exhaust>intake that is causing my growth to be stunted. Im aware the setup is far from ideal but plants do appear healthy and look better everyday

hope to add pictures within the week but any asked questions will be answered to my best ability
thanks guys and gals :peace:

sounds like your doin good .. only things are does it smell yet cuz it will you may want to get some air fresheners of some kind (they sell at hydro stores) i have also grown in above 90 degree temps and enjoyed the fruits of my labors! i uised a 400 wt hps with an isco fan only it got HOT but had sttrong healthy plants they were fine! happy growin also be sure to start flowering b4 your babys are too close to your lights ..runing out of room is never good

they dont smell too much, when i mess with the stems (bending every which way) my fingers smell rather pungent but theres only a mild smell in the air, if u were unaware you probably wouldn't notice.

thought i would add the humidity was around 55-65 during seedling and is now 25-35%, lights have been on 24/0 since the very beginning, after recently reading an in depth thread (https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/176831-best-all-around-guide-ive.html#post2282973) i am going to change the lights to 20/4 for one week, 18/6 for the next and then all the way to 12/12

will have pictures soooon, still havent sprung for these ridiculously expensive rechargable batteries for my camera

btw, anyone know if theres any truth to males and females having characteristics even during veg, ie: branching and internode length, all that good stuff, i swear i feel like i can already tell my 3 females apart from my 2 males, they just have a different "feel" and "look" to them

finally got some pictures, in the top there are 2 circular 4" fans exhausting, i guess the radiation messes with my camera lens, its a phone afterall
