New Grow/First Aero setup

Hello,

I recently tried to do a soil set up, but didn't turn out so spiffy (male plants).
So a friend is getting me some clones, but I have a few questions:

Setup: I have a 4' high, 3' wide, 2' deep storage item, which is easy to hide (live in apartments). I have a Carbon filter inside of it with 70CFM fan out, and 70CFM fan for inflow. 2 43Watt CFLs (all I can afford, also needs to be very secret grow).

I want to do an hydro/aero setup inside this box, hope for a somewhat decent but small yield.

I was looking at getting this: University Scientific Corporation™ > WindowGrow The First Plug-N-Play Mini Hydroponic Garden

Looks small, able to fit inside my little box with ease.

These are supposed to be some very nice clones im getting and should be my first really grow that will yield. Any suggestions would be great.

That WILL grow plants, but very small ones. The entire unit is really tiny considering that we are looking at three 2" net pots in that unit. If I were you, I'd build my own to fit inside of your existing cabinet. Use 3" net pots and airstones for the bubbles. Fill the tub up to just about 1/4" from the bottom of the net pots. The bubbles bursting at the surface will provide all the water/nutrients needed by the plants. The roots will grow down into the nutrient solution. You can buy the tub and matching lid at WalMart. The airstones and dual outlet pumps can be bought there too in the "fish" department ... pet supplies.

i say it is better making youre own as i did there are few storage contains that are ideal and cheap (couple quid)the other i looked at was the mop buucket as it came with its own plant holder one air piping and air tube(air stone if one plant go for the tube if more than 1). this is mine https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-pics/index.php?n=2850 as you can see dont get clear containers if you do black them out.

has anyone used the GARDEN OF EASE from discount-hydro.com thats 4 pots in a 13x13x10" aeroponic system/ ? Useing in closet 24X44" sizw and 250HPS 66" above floor on top of self above so light is on top half of closet.
