New Grow problems

Started a grow in a new 8x10' room. Using 3" rockwool in clay pellets. Took a week to get the venting, temp and RH at proper levels. Got up to 104 degrees a few times during adjustments. They were getting watered 4 times per day but with no nutrients for 1 week. They looked weak and droopy. Week two the Temp/Rh is under control now- 76 degrees 52 rh on average and water was backed off to twice per day but has nutrients added. Using digital Ph device. They still look weak and droopy.
Did I damage them beyond repair in that first Hot House week? Or will they recover? And honestly... how much water per day? Thanks for any advice!

Are they clones? What light? Not sure on the watering I know nothing about flood and drain. How do roots look? Are they sitting in run off?

Yes, clones. GrowPros 660W LED 18-6 Roots are small but growing. Not sitting in run off water. Just the damp clay pellets.

Are these clones off a plant that was vegging or in early stage of flipping? At any rate I would ditch the lot and start again. When I used to grow photoperiods my cloning set up always produced a strong result ready for the clay balls. I had the clones in 1 inch Rockwool cube and with a top feed driven by a small pump.

That sounds a lot like my set-up. Rockwool, into clay, top feed, pump driven. How often did you water in that system?

I'm just talking about clones. So the Rockpool cubes were sitting in little slotted holders, in a tray, covered and a single fluorescent strip over them. Did not get placed in clay balls till later. This is robust enough that I was able to take a clone of a flowering garden plant put it in a jar of water, drive it 200km home and it rooted. I planted in the garden for a result almost as good as hydro.

I have also had success just taking a cutting and placing that directly into the clay balls with a continuous drip.

To my eyes those cutting look to be too woody, you need to take greener cuttings.

OK, I'm a beginner so I started with clones already in rockwool cubes. You think I should start over? I'm only 2 weeks in so now is the time. Thanks!

So I pulled them and looks like it was the right call. This is what I had after 15 days. Starting over. Thanks!
Yeah, there's obviously something up, that needs to be sorted because hydro is generally dead easy to get right.

Here's one home made hydro, where I have set up a ring spray and the roots sit on the bottom which has holes and drains into another tank. However it's a bit of a pain because the res is under the plant. Better to have the res separate.
