New grower

I am a new grower. Got a couple of dro seeds out of the bag and figured I would see what I could do. I read up all I could find and feel like I know the basics. I germinated my seeds for around 5 days and let the root come out and could see the plant starting to produce its first set of leaves so I planted them in Fox Farmsorganic soil and gave it a watering with some water with General Hydroponics FloraNova Grow and they shot up quite nice. This was about 3 weeks but now one plant is all the way on its side and the other is starting to slump over as well and I haven't changed a thing. I have em in a pot inside of my sun room that is suppose to have windows that give out uv rays to the plants in the room and don't have no hs or mh bulbs. What am I doing wrong??

sounds like u didn't plant em deep enough. once mine germinate i pot in 4" then once they grow out some i put them in their permanent 7 gal pots. i put most of the plant underground, i even cut some lower leaves and branches off if i need to

do you have a fan on them? some exercise allows for roots to anchor plant. do they look weak and stretchy due to lack of above light? rotate them. also it's easy to over-fertilize young plants.

Once I germinated i only planted about 2 inches into the soil so could be not deep enough. No fan on them, keep all my windows in the sun room open for good breeze and ventilation. The one looks weak and stretchy now. I dont have any above light, just whatever comes through the sun room windows

it's been 3 wks you can pull them out of the pot to check roots, when dry, in between waterings. they need an exercise fan. this will also help them dry out. rotate them all partially each day.

new gardeners tend to overwater. are the leaves cupping, droopy or yellow at all? be careful of oxygen deficit.

I hate not having pics right now, will put some in once i get off work. I believe its not enough light because since in the sun room maybe around 14 hrs of light if im lucky of no overcast or anything

Put them outside since you don't have any lights. In a place that gets plenty of sun. It's not entirely too late to start but they'll start to flower next month

Leaves aren't droopy or yellow. I have only given it water once so far and i can stick my fingers down to my knuckle and feel the moisture

Im gonna put em out in the open and leave em till night falls. Was thinking of gettin a grow tent with some hps and mh bulbs, any suggestions?

maybe shade them slightly if you put em outside.... if they get full sun all day long on day one outside you'll crush em.

the intensity of light in sunroom may be less than you think.

The household members tell me they give off uv rays and thats y the plants in there grow so good
Idk know what way ur windows face or what in ur sun room but it can b done that way I went to college in Denver and my roommate s and I had a Hindu kush and romulan in soil in our sun room never gave it a nuet just water and actually some silica so i guess thats a nuet but got about a zip a plant nothing great but for being given the clones and little investment it was nice
If u can like others are saying getting them outdoors will benefit those little guys a lot even though I'm mostly indoors now IMO that's where this shit is supposed to b grown at hella cheaper too

1/4" is the standard depth to plant cannabis seeds - 2" is too deep & many will not be able to push up through that much soil.

I can get em outside no problem. I just dont wanna fuck up cuz im on my third plant this time and they all die the same way. They start to lean over then just wither away and srivel

Thats the way to go if your growing inside in most places. I've seen very few windowsill grows produce much more than some popcorn buds. If you can permanently grow them outside thats different but if they have to come inside, they need help.

seedlings barely need any fertiliZer... the f0x farm mix already had some, plus you added other liquid concentrate fert**\ add that to unknown natural light...

overfert, overwatering n underlight... any one, or all, wld do it!
good luck

Well I only watered it once since being planted so I know its not overwatered but I did use FloraNova Grow the day I put them in the Fox Farm soil
