New Member. 1st Grow. Guess I' ll Start a Journal

not MH, but CMH (Ceramic M.H.) which is a different bulb. but yes, these girls were vegged, and then went to bloom under the 400w CMH.

will get pics up shortly. but i think they are pretty much done

ya, even 600 would be nice. but for what its worth, other than buying 2 HPS 400w ballast, bulbs, reflectors, 2 400 CMH can tpically do more for less cost over one 1000 HPS. so initial cost is a bit more, but long run cost savings can be pretty significant over the lifetime of use. also consider the CMH bulbs are "Said" to last typically twice as long for life cycle as other types like mh, hps, or even other conversion bults. now add they are ave 50.00 to 60.00 for a bulb compared to 70 to 150. it was hard Not to go with the Philips CMH. Twice the life span with halfe the buy cost, and lower operating costs, yet as you can see, it works very well. these 2 girls were done fully under 1 400w setup.

im pleased with my results thus far.

some pics from yesterday. posted all in my In Bloom thread. but wanted to up date the journal a bit.

week 9 today (sat) day 63.

started water only last weekend (no nutes) today they were flooded. will stay flooded till monday eve, then one will hang to dry immediatly, and one will be put in darkness, but still watered for 2 more days, then hung to dry. want to see if/what the flavor differance is, so considering these are basically twins, should be able to tell the differance between the 2 processes.

more later.

ok, girl one is in the can, or jars as it is.

took some samples at 6, 8, and 9 weeks. flooded at 9.5 weeks and cut after 3 days on girl one.

girl two had 2 additional days of flood but with full darkness on her. shes hanging now and will be trimmed up in a few more days.

a few pics to bring us up to speed.

Girl number one hanging. took 3 days ago.

but overall, im very very pleased. 160g of trimmed nugs, about an oz of pre finished samples. and a pile of trimmings to make some has with.
