New member, New grow Journal, Pics Ect!

Hey all! I'm brand new to the forum, but have lurked for the past couple months as I have been setting up my operation. A lot of the threads I've read were very helpful, and I thought its probably my time to start contributing/joining the community.

Well, here's what I've got going on. I have a 2x4x5 black grow tent, with reflective mylar inside. I have a reflective hood, running a 400W H.P.S bulb. So far I'm going 18/6 for light cycle. I have 5 plants that sprouted 2 days ago, and they are the "autoberry" seeds from marijuanaseeds.nl. They are feminized. I'm currently using purified tap water, which from what I've read seems to be an okay option, but I could use some advice there.

THIS IS MY FIRST GROW EVER. I'm very excited to learn throughout the way and see how they turn out! Forgot to mention I'm growing in soil, and organic mix (I believe it is called foxfarm?).

Anyways, looking to get some advice from you experts! Anybody have any experience with autoberry? Anything I defiantly should/should not do for good results? Tips/tricks? Again first grow so any insight helps a lot!


I WILL SNAP PICTURES WHEN I GET HOME! I'm in class right now until late, but around 9pm I'll get some photos up. They are just coming through the dirt, all 5 are about 1.5 inches tall, but you guys can see what i'm working with.

super cropping. look it up.

Just looked up super cropping, seems like an interesting concept. Do you personally do this with your plants? Does anyone else have any experience with it? I've read that these plants tend to stay below 18" anyways, so do you think this is necessary?

As far as watering goes, how much is enough/too much? I'm making sure that the soil is consistently damp right now, not soaked or mashy. Any tips??

Water Once a day if they need it... Most beginning growers should add a little perlite to their medium to help prevent overwatering. Moreover, considering the excitement of the new grower, most first time growers try to do to much. Research other forum threads about nutes. I suggest you look into something simple like fox farms trio pack. However, remember that autoflowering plants usually veg for such a short time that you should feed it accordingly. Hope this helps

FF soils have enough nutes in them for a good 3-4 weeks anyway. By then most autos will probably be in flowering so you may want too go with Fox Farms Big Bud or Tiger Bloom. Be careful with the strength you add though.

Auto's are very easy to grow and care for.

Just watch out for to much fertilizers. For some reason Auto's are very sensitive to over feeding. But all in all, Very easy to care for. Just harvested some Northern Lights Auto. Cant wait to puff that
