Where's the best money spent now for lighting a 5x5 or 6x6 footprint? I need to cover 3 of them. Was about to order some more aray 750's but now I dont think I will. If similar tech is available for less cost, someone point me in that direction please. I have been happy with the performance thus far, but haven't gotten thru a runso cant really speak for end results. This my first LED grow. Im an HID guy

Is there anyway to get a picture comparison? Understand if you have to be discrete.Plants underneath thr migro look much happier than the plants underneath the 2021 model Mammoth 800w. I will say that. We've got the light cranked to 100 and lifted higher than 16".
I need to read into some more when I have time. Need to order 2 more lights this week. Will check out what you recommended there. Thanks.
Might be interesting to run two Array 750's and 2 of something similar and compare. That'll tell a story.
i might get that for my new tent until i win the lottoWait till Spiderfarmer's stuff is on sale, the SF-2000's you could get for 150$ at one point.
If you don't wanna pay 500-1000$ for a fixture, put two of these in a 4x4, they're decent.
Money Problem solved.

It could just be 2024 technology vs 2019 technology. Migro's new lights are the most design to hit the market and the spectrum is weighted heavily in the 660 region. If you're hitting the plants with the same PPFD, it could be something as simple as that.Plants underneath thr migro look much happier than the plants underneath the 2021 model Mammoth 800w. Two thoughts - most growers do not give their plants enough light for the plant to reach their genetic potential. Second, if you're not one of "most growers" and if you can take advantage of the output from the GM light and if the marginal cost of is acceptable/not an issue, the GML light is superb.I need to read into some more when I have time. Agreed. That would make for an interesting read.Might be interesting to run two Array 750's and 2 of something similar and compare. That'll tell a story.
Im glad I didnt pay much for it. It'll make a good veg light maybe. Is there anyway to get a picture comparison? Understand if you have to be discrete.
Im honestly not surprised if array plants look better as iirc mammoths 21 spectrum wasnt very impressive
I will be there tomorrow and will get a pic. Just go easy on me. Won't be fair comparison, technically. But I think itll be obvious. No 2 plants tbe same.Is there anyway to get a picture comparison? Understand if you have to be discrete.

No worries, just curious on the comparisonI will be there tomorrow and will get a pic. Just go easy on me. Won't be fair comparison, technically. But I think itll be obvious. No 2 plants tbe same.
Sorry for requpting you this long after but id like to pick your impressions on this; what difference have you seen from adding 680 to for example 660 reds?680nm led, most underated led on the planet.
Migro charges $2k for review holy snikeys
I think its an interesting spectral juxtapostion, it resolves for lower eff of 730, you dont seem to get Pr to Pfr as sweet as 660, but does not get back conversion causing elongation, and you right it gets em stinky. I think its the goto red. Cant speak to performance when blended with UV but logic would suggest the two together would be a flavour and smell feastSorry for requpting you this long after but id like to pick your impressions on this; what difference have you seen from adding 680 to for example 660 reds?
We made some tests adding a bunch of all different reds to 2700k 90cri (660/680/730 and i think 630 aswell) along with a pretty wide but balanced uv spectrum to two of our trays and while it wasnt the most scientific tests i really liked the results in smells; we got back that "volatile" terpentiney character to some of our cuts. Some were great while some smelled like weve overdone it; we did add some pretty massive amounts, like 25% reds and uv in total.
Just hoping youd share anything youve seen![]()
Not sure if im getting you right, you argue that 680 would replace 660+730 with one diode? I tend to agree.I think its an interesting spectral juxtapostion, it resolves for lower eff of 730, you dont seem to get Pr to Pfr as sweet as 660, but does not get back conversion causing elongation, and you right it gets em stinky.
