Yeah man I know what you mean. I need to run a heater in my tent sometimes to get the temps to optimum level so plants use the co2 and photosynthesize to their maximum. I'll be doing a dwc right next to my soilless mix grow ( which is essentially poor mans hydro) to compare results. I too am liking how much faster dwc growth rates are but dont like all the ph testing tds etc that needs to be done to mantain res and healthy growth but I'm lazy lol Dont knock autos though as I have a jdm type r turbo integra thats auto that whoops on evos and stis. Auto just requires more work to be fast =)

My first grow , I did soil & failed . Mold took over my plants as LED didn't thrown off any heat and they lasted about 2-3 weeks.in flower . I'm doing a hydro ( DWC ) and in 30 days , my plants went from 2 1/2 inches to 18-21 inches with 24/0 no rest , lights on all day and they love me for it . From what I've seen and read , soil can't compare to hydro , its more efficient and you have full control . Like going from driving auto to stick .

Oh yeah so to explain my current setup, I'm using smart pots with a tray underneath . I flood em with my RO water nute mix then after the tray fills i drain and clean the tray then put it back under. I don't let the water sit in tray for long because I don't want the roots to chase the water and grow through smart pot. My pots are filled with sunshine mix 4 soilless mix with a mixture of large chunk perlite to aid in drainage. It's basically hydro but I have to manually fill and drain instead of pumps lol.

No, I didn't mean speed wise when I talked about the transmission . I simply meant as far as full control of every aspect of the grow . Ive bought a tds meter and its really useless . I know what my plants need by looking at them . Sure you see what they eat by seeing Ppm but I've seen people do grows without a PPM meter . pH on the other hand , is a mandatory . It's like a car , rpms meters are handy, but you can play by ear if needed . In a sense Youll understand better lol . But that's what I fuckin said about my growth , thanx man. I have a journal set up , but no one has wrote shit on it . Lol, manual hydro Lmao .

I'm looking at co2 controllers\monitors and damn they are expensive. I'm new to using co2 this way as I was using co2 green pads before. Do you have any insight in how to use this kind of setup manually or should i just try to get a controller so it's all automated?

I'm hoping to see some faster growth after switching from green co2 pads to a tank \regulator setup. My regulator also includes a flow meter.

Day 10 of veg. Still on 18\6 light cycle running 3 days of full 11 spectrums of light then 3 days blue light only

Thanks guys. I really like the colors too =) I wish I had this stuff on my first few grows. I should have the DWC setup going in a few days so stay tuned and watch the growth differences

This tent is awesome. I cant wait till my other Magnum gets here then I'll have the 5x5 space fully covered. Right now the 6 plants I have in there under 1 magnum don't even take up half the space of my tent and they are already in 5 gallon smart pots. I'm really glad I went with the 5x5 tent instead of the 4x7.
