Another grow under way. I'm hoping to get it right this time. I have been under feeding on past grows so this time I will be using TDS pen to keep track of feeding. I'm also stepping up my lights. Been using two 150w HPS now I finally have a good setup with 400w hps and good temps and ventilation.

Lights 400w HPS for flower CFL and LED for Veg.
Strains: NL x BB - Critical Jack - Super Skunk - Bubba 76 - One NL x BB auto just for kicks.
Tent 3x3 Apollo
Vent: 4" hurricane fan and phresh filter
Soil: Fox Farms OF + Perlite
Pots: 3 gallon fabric
Nutes: GH Floranova Veg and Bloom + FF Grow Big + CalMag
Water: Bottled RO water + some tap water to around 150 ppm

Sprout date: NL/BB and Super Skunk May 15th
NL/BB auto May 22
Critical Jack and Bubba 76 June 2nd

I staggered the planting because I was waiting on seed delivery. I'll probably top the first two to slow them down a bit. So far they look great.

So far been feeding the older plants 300 ppm of calmag, root enhancer, grow big and veg nutes.

Pics tomorrow.

Yea theirs been a whole thread on about it recently .....but......plenty of growers have grew it with no problems.....look forward to some pics sunny....do you really think the ec meter will help with feeding in soil......

I've never really had the best setup, so I can't say how good the NL/BB strain is. I haven't had any issues with it and it issues were my own fault. On my last scrog it definitely yielded better than the Super Skunk.

Yes, I definitely think the EC meter will help. Without it I am just guessing. I always thought I had CalMag issues, but on my last grow I discovered I was under feeding. Also, I think that GH upped their nute recommendations. Right now I am delivering my 3 older plants 300 TDS. They have the slightest bit of burn.

Not much to see here. Vegging under 4 6500k CFL and 50w Apollo UFO LED. Today I topped the two larger plants on the left and right to slow them down while my new strains catch up. i pulled the UFO higher to take the pic, but it hangs over the two new seedlings. Funny that they are stretching a bit even though the light is close. I think they like the CFL better.. If everyone was the same size I 'd have these in 3 gallon pots by now with a MH overhead. Just need the two newbs to catch up.

Yea you have plenty of time to let the sprouts catch up .....anouther couple of weeks max and they will be ready for their new home ......I've heard a few people say that initially the leds do cause smaller seedlings to stretch even when it's directly above I've never used them so I can't say for definate...........well sunny now you will see how a more powerful light can perform for you ...........I think you will be pleasantly surprised...........Good luck and keep us posted.....

Wait a couple of days until the smaller ones get a couple of sets of leaves .......then stick your 400 m/h on them I'm sure they will thank you for it......

Thanks for the support Greenhouse.. Yea, I am excited to see how a 400w improves penetration and yield.

I moved the new sprouts under the CFLs and placed the two larger ones directly under the LED.

I have a 250w MH going now. It gives off a nice light. I wish electricity wasn't so expensive here. I'd have a 400 going, but this should do the job. I can see where a 600w would rock this 3x3 space.
Transplanted all 5 into larger pots.
Topped Skunk for a second time..(Back left). This girl is vigorous. Will top Big Bud again in a few days when she has enough sprout to snip.
The autoflower is in the center. I may toss her, not sure. Just taking up space underneath the light.

Seems like they never grow until I create a new post then it's fun to see the changes over the past few days :)

Everyone seems happy. Good growth. I'm bummed that the Critical Jack looks more like an Afghanni pure bread.
Gave them 300 ppm nutes a few days ago.
Still been topping the back two to slow them down. The Super Skunk is really a good seed. I hope to take some clones.

Day 58 for this little auto. She is healthy but under sized since she is not the main focus. She just gets side light and is now under only 12/12. Her buds look nice though..

I have been reading a lot about Koolbloom. My plan is to giver her 1 tsp of LIQUID Koolbloom today and again next week. No more nutes other than that. I will just give water the last two weeks. So that gives her 4 more weeks. It will likely take that long

Ten days since flip.... Looking good. Really nice stretch. I was worried two would be too small. The larger two on the right are running out of control even though I keep supercropping a few branches at a time. I'm going to get some bamboo stakes.

I'll be glad when the autoflower is finished. She just takes up space. Everyone is very healthy and I haven't run into some of the problems such as gnats, calmag or under-nuting.. Not even any heat issues. Temps are in the high seventies. I want to pick up some floralicous and give it a try. I am hoping that the koolbloom gives me some frost this round.

Just for my own records..
Nute Day. Call it week 1. 11 days since flip.
1/4 tsp MOAB Booster
1/2tsp Bloom
1/2 tsp veg
1 tsp CALMAG
15 mil Tricominator.
1/4 tsp root
PPM 700 and PH to 6.5

I hate mixing all of this up, but it is what it is for now. Maybe later I'll just go to Lucas. I get decent deals at the shop so it's not too bad to try different things.

I bought the moab as a cheaper alt to Dry Koolbloom
Tricomator was recommended to me and I figured I'd give it a try. Past grows have come out smelling rather flat and frostless.

I also added bamboo stakes to two plants to try to support them and also open up the centers more. I also lollipopped them a but.

The auto will be done soon. I gave her 1/2 tsp of MOAB (Full strength) Plus some bloom in tap water.
