u wont have to pollenate ur females unless u want seeds, and males are wortless other wise 2 make seeds

Males are bad. You remove your plants from the soil after they are done flowering. Read FAQ getting started.

ahh..seeing your 1st seedlings appearing is always a happy moment..
Unlike the Female plants, male plants DO NOT produce buds. when you determine the Sex of the plant, and u have males or whatnot, get rid of them ASAP. (not good). When buds start appearing on your plants when they flower, then you'll know when to harvest. Keep us all updated and good luck!

Meemo, don't worry about drying your harvest quite yet, you have a loooooong way to go for that. I'm 3 months into my grow and I still have another couple weeks before I chop them. Good luck!

Thanks, Meemo. It has been a lot of fun growing. I'm not going to lie to you, anyone that says it's easy is wrong. You have to plan and expect things to crop up. I started with 7 plants and lost 2 along the way. 3 of the remaining 5 turned out to be male. That left me with the 2 females I have now. I would recommend you read as much as you can - read other people's grow logs. Read the threads where people are asking for help. Read read read. You can never have too much info. If I knew then when I first started, what I know now, I would have saved myself a lot of time and money. Nonetheless, it's been a very fun experience. The side benefit, besides some smoke at the end, is that I'm learning a lot about general gardening in the process and my backyard is blooming with tons of flowers all over!

Meem, I know better. In my youth in my neighborhood we grew up with Lebanese and Syrian families. They were always very wealthy and made their money by selling fabric and then clothing later on.
